We open to a recap of the Tribal Court held on WWE Monday Night Raw this past Monday. Sami Zayn was on trial for conspiracy with Kevin Owens against Roman Reigns and the Bloodline. Sami had been found not guilty but Roman Reigns told him he did not want to see him until the Royal Rumble. He added that Sami’s final test would take place at the Royal Rumble.

The Bloodline pull up outside of the arena. Solo Sikoa is facing Kevin Owens this evening, and Jimmy Uso tells him to go take care of business. Sami Zayn stops Jey Uso on the way in and says he is not coming inside tonight. He wishes them luck and says he will see them at the Royal Rumble.

Rey Mysterio defeats Karrion Kross

Rey Mysterio uses his speed from the bell to take Karrion Kross down with a dropkick to the knee. Karrion Kross becomes frustrated quickly and spills Mysterio out to the floor. Karrion attempts to toss Rey into the barricade but he reverses. As Karrion is down on the ground, Rey rolls back in to the ring. We go to commercial break.

Returning from commercial break Karrion Kross slams Rey Mysterio over his knee, back first. With Rey perched up on the top rope, Kross tries to pull off his mask. Mysterio fights back and hits a kick to the back of the head. Karrion falls into position and Rey hits the 619 followed by a Frog Splash. He covers Kross but it is only good for a two count. Karrion Kross lifts Rey Mysterio up for a slam but Rey rolls through and gets Karrion into a pinning position. The referee counts to three and Rey Mysterio wins.

Following a recap of the WWE United States Championship match on Raw this past Monday, Austin Theory is coming to the ring. Austin grabs a microphone and proclaims that the “champ is here!” and says after his victory on Monday night he is on his way to win the Royal Rumble. The New Day comes out and interrupts him. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods say that Austin Theory can’t just walk on to SmackDown and call himself the best. They laugh at his claim to winning the Royal Rumble. Austin asks the New Day if they know who he is. He says he is the biggest star in the WWE. Just then The Miz comes out. The Miz says he has been fighting in Royal Rumble matches since before Austin was in puberty. The Miz says he is older and wiser and he will win his first Royal Rumble match tomorrow night. The Miz and Austin Theory strike both members of the New Day just as Bobby Lashley storms the ring and lays everyone out. The crowd is chanting for Bobby Lashley as he grabs the microphone. As he starts to make his claim to the Royal Rumble match, Brock Lesnar comes from behind and gives Lashley an F5. He says he will see Bobby at the Royal Rumble.

Lacey Evans defeats Jasmine Allure

Lacey Evans ties up with Jasmine Allure at the bell and tosses her across the ring. Evans taunts Allure after a slam, doing push ups as she tries to stand back up. Jasmine Allure is in the corner and Lacey Evans smashes Allure’s head into the turnbuckle. Lacey Evans locks in a Cobra Clutch and Jasmine Allure quicky submits. Lacey Evans wins.

Sheamus and Drew McIntyre backstage exchange compliments to one another for the Royal Rumble match tomorrow night. They prepare for their upcoming match in the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament.

Drew McIntyre & Sheamus versus Hit Row

While Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are entering they are attacked from behind by the Viking Raiders who lost to them in round one of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament. WWE Officials break it up and we go to commercial break.

Adam Pearce greets Hit Row following the commercial break and says there will be a replacement team for Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. Ricochet and Braun Strowman enter.

Ricochet & Braun Strowman versus Hit Row

Ricochet and Ashante Adonis start things off. ricochet is on the offensive for much of the beginning of the match. Top Dolla and Fab B distract Ricochet and Adonis takes advantage. Top Dolla and Adonis double team Ricochet. A botched dive from Ashante Adonis makes it possible for Ricochet to make the tag to Braun Strowman. Strowman clears the ring and Ricochet hits a dive over the top rope on to Top Dolla. Braun Strowman hoists Ashante Adonis up in the Monster Bomb and slams him to the mat. He covers and Braun Strowman and Ricochet win.

Kevin Owens is backstage. He is facing Solo Sikoa tonight and he says it’s up to him to take out as many members of the Bloodline as he can before the Royal Rumble. The Usos appear and Kevin Owens storms them. WWE Officials break up the fight and Adam Pearce removes the Usos from the building and tells Owens to go prepare for his match.

Bray Wyatt’s music plays but walking down the aisle is LA Knight holding a miniature lamp and wearing the same Hawaiian shirt and hat as Wyatt of the past. LA Knight takes to the microphone and says that his appearance on Raw this past Monday was a historic moment until he was interrupted by the Undertaker. He tells Bray Wyatt to bring all he’s got to the Royal Rumble because he is going to leave him ripped and tattered. Bray Wyatt appears in a rocking chair at the top of the entranceway. He tells LA Knight to enjoy joking around tonight because tomorrow night he will have to meet the man he has been asking for. Uncle Howdy appears in the crowd and taunts LA Knight. 

Legado Del Fantasma versus Imperium

Ludwig Kaiser and Joaquin Wilde begin the match. Kaiser keeps Wilde grounded with various lock ups. Wilde comes back and makes the tag to Cruz Del Toro. Toro starts strong but succumbs to a clothesline from Kaiser who stomps him in the chest. Ludwig is brought down with chops and Toro makes the tag to Wilde. He is knocked down and Ludwig Kaiser makes the tag to Giovanni Vinci. We go to commercial break.

Returning from commercial break Ludwig Kaiser is slamming Joaquin Wilde to the mat. He is brought to Imperium’s corner and they exchange blows on him. Wilde reverses a slam attempt into a DDT and he and Kaiser both reach for a tag. Cruz Del Toro and Giovanni Vinci both storm into the ring but Toro lays out Vinci. Legado Del Fantasma both dive over the top rope onto Imperium. Wilde hits a splash on Kaiser and covers for the pin. Vinci makes the save just before the three count. Giovanni Vinci sets Del Toro up on the top rope and slams him down. He makes the tag to Kaiser and he comes in, setting him up for the Imperial Bomb. They hit it and Kaiser covers Del Toro. The referee counts the pinfall and Imperium wins. They advance to the finals of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament.

Charlotte Flair is backstage. She tells Adam Pearce that if Sonya DeVille wants a title match she can have it. Adam Pearce makes the match for next week on SmackDown.

Kevin Owens defeats Solo Sikoa

At the bell both men take to trading punches with one another. Kevin Owens tries for a hard shoulder block but is unable to take Solo Sikoa down. They exchange shoulder blocks back and forth and Kevin Owens wins the exchange. Solo Sikoa is down in the corner but he rolls out of the ring before Kevin Owens can charge him with a splash. Owens meets Sikoa outside of the ring but is met with a clothesline. We go to commercial break.

As we return from commercial break Solo Sikoa and Kevin Owens are firing punches back and forth. Kevin Owens drops into the ring corner but is able to move out of the way before Solo Sikoa can splash him. Owens catches Sikoa in a DDT and gets a close two count. Kevin Owens takes to the top rope but Solo Sikoa is there to meet him. He hooks Owens’s arm and tries to suplex him. Kevin fights back and Solo drops to the mat. Owens hits a Frog Splash and covers for the pin. It gets another close two count. Solo receives a series of superkicks but manages to reverse a Stunner attempt and hits a Samoan Drop for a close two count of his own. Another series of superkicks from Owens, followed by a cannonball and a Swanton Bomb. He covers Sikoa for the pin but Solo is pulled out of the ring by Sami Zayn, breaking the pinfall. The referee calls for the bell. Owens wins by disqualification.

Kevin Owens runs to the outside of the ring and goes for Sami. Solo Sikoa sets up to strike Owens from behind but hits Zayn by mistake. Kevin Owens and Solo Sikoa battle on the outside and Owens hits powerbomb on Solo on to the announcer’s desk. With a chair at hand, Owens threatens Sami Zayn with it then nails Solo Sikoa.
