SmackDown is coming live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The man to face WWE InterContinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania will be decided tonight in a five way match. Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Sheamus, Karrion Kross and Xavier Woods will all vie for the number one contender ship. Braun Strowman and Ricochet face the Viking Raiders. More to come in the Bloodline saga after Jey Uso struck Sami Zayn following his match on Raw with Jimmy Uso.

Following a recap from the events of Monday Night Raw this past week Paul Heyman greets Jey Uso in the parking garage. Paul tells Jey that he and the Tribal Chief are proud of him. Jey sends Paul off to tell Roman Reigns that he is here. Kayla Braxton is there and Jey informs her that he will tell everyone what he needs to say in the middle of the ring tonight.
Drew McIntyre versus Karrion Kross versus LA Knight versus Sheamus versus Xavier Woods *winner receives a shot at the WWE InterContinental Championship at WrestleMania.
Xavier Woods goes for LA Knight but gets dumped over the top rope. Sheamus dumps LA Knight. Drew McIntyre removes Karrion Kross and he and Sheamus come face to face. We go to commercial break.
Returning from the commercial break Karrion Kross and LA Knight have Xavier Woods down in the corner. Drew McIntyre attempts to interfere but Kross knocks him to the outside. LA Knight goes to the outside and assists with throwing McIntyre into the ring post. Back inside the ring Kross and Knight continue their double team on Xavier Woods. Drew McIntyre is double suplexed over the ropes. Sheamus reappears and hits a dropkick off of the top rope onto Kross. LA Knight lands a cutter on Sheamus and covers for the pin but Kross breaks it up. Xavier Woods comes between them and takes it to LA Knight. Woods hits a swinging kick off of the ropes that takes Knight and McIntyre down at once. Karrion Kross receives a superkick and Woods climbs high. He hits an elbow onto the chest of LA Knight and covers for the pin. All of the other challengers dive onto him to break the pin. Gunther appears on the entrance ramp and we go to commercial break.
As we return from the commercial break Karrion Kross and LA Knight are double teaming Drew McIntyre in the corner of the ring. Knight turns on Kross and goes for a superplex with McIntyre tied up on the top rope and hanging upside down. McIntyre flips up and flops them both off of the top. He charges Knight with a clothesline. He takes Kross down with a neckbreaker. Knight is back and is locked up for the Future Shock. He battles out. Sheamus returns to the ring and levels both men. He lines Xavier Woods up on the ropes and unloads chest chops onto him. Karrion Kross receives the same. LA Knight is next. Sheamus lines up for a kick but Drew McIntyre stands in the way. Xavier Woods and LA Knight both try to intervene but are caught with kicks from both Sheamus and McIntyre. Both men cover and two referees count to three. Both men score the pinfall. No call is announced.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with Paul Heyman. She asks him about Jey Uso’s actions on Monday Night Raw. He says that it does not matter what story Cody Rhodes or Sami Zayn are trying to write. What matters is what is real and that is Roman Reigns. That is the Bloodline. Paul says that Cody Rhodes will lose at WrestleMania and be forced to acknowledge his Tribal Chief.
Rey Mysterio is announced as the first inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023. He comes out to a massive ovation from the crowd. As Rey goes to address the crowd the Judgment Day come out and Dominick interrupts his father. He bashes his father, telling him that he doesn’t deserve to be an inductee. He tells him that he is ashamed to be his son. Santos Escobar comes out. Santos silences Dominick and challenges the Judgement Day to a match.Â
Judgement Day defeat Legado del Fantasma
Finn Balor starts the match for Judgement Day and he quickly isolates his opponent into the corner and makes a tag to Damien Priest. Del Toro is in for Legado del Fantasma and is slammed hard to the mat by Priest. Damien Priest tags in Dominick Mysterio who lands a Three Amigos on Del Toro. Finn Balor returns to action but Del Toro fights back and lands a tag to Santos Escobar. Escobar lands a few drop kicks and strikes and makes the tag to Wilde. Wilde lands a splash from the top and covers. Finn Balor kicks out at two. Balor makes the tag to Damien Priest. Priest isolates Wilde in the corner. Dominick Mysterio returns to the ring and hits a somersault splash over the top rope. We go to commercial break.
Returning from commercial break Santos Escobar is taking it to Finn Balor. Escobar hits a spinning leg drop but Finn Balor kicks out at two. Both go for a tag and Del Toro and Dominick Mysterio come in. Action explodes on the outside and Del Toro has Dominick in a roll up following a superkick but Rey Mysterio has distracted the referee and Damien Priest nails Del Toro before Dominick reverses the pin. Dominick scores the pinfall victory for the Judgement Day.
Following the bell Dominick invites his father into the ring for a face to face talk. Rey joins him in the ring and Dominick tells him that he wishes he had been Eddie’s son and saying he should have been inducted into the deadbeat dad hall of fame. Dominick goes to hit his father but he dives out of the way and sends him over the top rope. Dominick can be heard yelling to his father that he will have to fight him.
Viking Raiders deafeat Braun Strowman & Ricochet
Erik and Ricochet start things off. Ricochet takes down Erik with a side headlock and follows up with a strong hip toss. Erik comes back with a shoulder block and makes a tag to Ivar. Ricochet hits a high knee on Ivar and Braun Strowman is there to clothesline him over the top rope. He sends Erik over the rope next and then tosses Ricochet onto both of them.
