WWE Main Event (7/29) Results: Ambrose Vs. Del Rio

Welcome to WWE Main Event, Dean Ambrose makes his way out to the ring. He says he is back and is in a bad mood. He said that doing promotional work is not what he likes, but that is what he has to do if the Authority tells him to do it. He said that, let’s cut the crap and Seth Rollins do what’s best for business by coming down here right now. Dean calls out Rollins, and says let’s get nuts. Rollins does not come out, but it’s OK. He says he will go through everyone and then he will make Rollins pay the price for selling out. ADR comes out, he says that Ambrose looks like he just came out of a Dumpster. Rio says he is not afraid of him, he says that fear is when he will lock in the cross arm breaker tonight. Rio asks him if he wants to start this now? ADR tells him that he is going to take Ambrose’s arm home tonight and put it on the shelf. This leads to ADR hitting Ambrose in the arm and cowardly getting out of the ring. 

We are shown highlights from the opening segment from last night’s Raw with John Cena and Paul Heyman.

The Usos Vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

Ryback and Jimmy start this one off, they lock up and Ryback throws him back first to the mat. Jimmy fights out of the corner with a series of chops. Ryback runs the ropes and runs into a dropkick by Jimmy. Jey now tagged in and they hit a double team suplex. Jey reverses an irish whip, but Ryback takes control with a spine buster. Axel tagged in and stomps a mud hole in Jey. Rybaxel double teams Jey and keeps in control until Ryback misses an elbow drop and Jey moves. This is your moment! Jey tags Jimmy as Axel is tagged in. Jimmy clears house, he hits a sitdown powerbomb and a splash in the corner. Jimmy kicks Ryback off the apron and Axel knocks Jimmy off the top rope. Axel with the fisherman suplex, but Jey breaks up the pin attempt. Jey distracts Ryback and nails him with the superkick. Axel rolls up Jimmy for 2. Jimmy nails a super kick on Axel. Jey tagged in, Jimmy takes Ryback out with a dive and Jey hits a splash off the top rope on Axel for the win.

Winners: The Usos

The Usos stare off with Big E and Kofi Kingston.

We are shown the Raw rebound from the closing moments from last night’s Raw between Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon.

Zack Ryder & Tyson Kidd Vs. Titus O’Neal & Heath Slater

Zack runs the ropes and hits a shoulder block on Slater for 2. Slater kicks Zack in the gut and nails a shoulder block. Zack reverses and hits a face first move. He tags in Tyson, who hits a sunset flip, roll up for 2. Kidd sends Slater to the floor, he flies off the apron with a front senton. Back in the ring, Zack is legal and hits a missile dropkick for 2. Slater backs Zack into the corner, he tags in O’Neal. This leads to O’Neal hitting a clothesline. O’Neal lands a chop to the chest of Zack. O’Neal hits a major league backbreaker for 2. O’Neal  tags in Slater, but Zack reverses a back suplex and tags in Tyson who hits a dropkick. Kidd with a series of strikes. He runs into a back elbow, but throws Slater upside down in the corner. O’Neal  misses a big boot and Kidd sends him to the corner where Zack hits the broski kick on O’Neal  and Kidd hits a dropkick in the corner on Slater for 2. Kidd heads to the top rope, O’Neal  distracts Kidd and Slater hits a suplex off the top rope for the win.

Winners: Titus O’Neal & Heath Slater

Dean Ambrose vs. Alberto Del Rio

Ambrose throws Rio into the corner where he lands an elbow and a right hand. Ambrose hits a snap suplex for 2. Rio reverses an Irish whip and hits an enziguri in the corner. Ambrose reverses an Irish whip to send Rio to the floor. Ambrose throws Rio into the barricade and then back into the ring. Ambrose works the midsection of Rio, he then locks in a submission where it targets all of Rio’s limbs. Ambrose reverses an Irish whip, he climbs the top rope, but Rio knock him down. Rio follows him up to the top, but Ambrose knocks him down this time and nails a missile dropkick that changes the match up. Ambrose fires away in the corner, Rio sends him to the apron and lands an enziguri leading to break.

-Commercial Break-

We are back with Rio having Ambrose in a headlock, but Ambrose fights out. Not for long, as ADR connects with a major league clothesline for 2. Rio sends Ambrose to the top rope and hits a top rope for 2. Rio locks in another headlock, but Ambrose fights out with a back suplex. Ambrose hits a clothesline, then another. Ambrose hits a Crossbody followed by rights. Rio shoots off the ropes and misses a move sending himself to the floor. Ambrose hits an outside dive leading ADR going into the crowd. Back in the ring, ADR goes for a superkick, but missed and Ambrose rolls him up for 2. Ambrose goes for a clothesline, but missed and Rio rolls him up for 2. Rio misses the sidekick in the corner and Ambrose hits a tornado DDT off the middle rope for 2. Rio takes a shot to the shoulder of Ambrose and then a superkick for a near fall. Rio calls for the arm bar, he goes for it, but blocked and Ambrose hits a clothesline. All of a sudden, Rollins comes out and they start brawling. Ambrose eventually clotheslines Rollins out of the ring and Rollins runs to the back. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Rio to prove a point. Ambrose and Rollins stare off to end the show.
