We begin with a recap of last week’s saga of RK-Bro.

We start with Randy Orton. He addresses why he hit Riddle with the RKO. He says that he doesn’t need friends or anyone. Last week, he would have beat AJ Styles with or without Riddle’s help and doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. Monday Night RAW is still his territory and he’ll prove it to Omos tonight. And he’ll do it with the RKO. Out comes Riddle.

Riddle says Orton is right because he knows why he hit him with the RKO. Riddle says he was being taught a lesson, because Orton had to hit Riddle with a proper RKO to teach him a lesson. Riddle says he learned his lesson and wants to give the team another chance. He needs his him in his corner against Omos tonight and proposes to get the gang back together.

AJ and Omos come out and says no one cares why Orton RKO’d Riddle, and he wonders if he can RKO himself. Last week meant nothing and he proved nothing because he cheated with Riddle’s help.

No one will save him against Omos tonight, because he will defang the viper. But Omos won’t have all the fun because he’s sick and tired of Riddle saying Bro. That’s why he’s going to break Riddle’s jaw right now. Riddle accepts his challenge, but Riddle says he’s unstoppable with Orton in his corner.

Riddle vs. AJ Styles

Orton leaves Riddle before the match begins. AJ wins with the Styles Clash after Omos distracts him.

Winner: AJ Styles

Nikki ASH is backstage and she’s asked what’s running through her mind. Nikki says she’s been thinking about Rhea, Charlotte and Summerslam. But with everything in her head, she has to look at herself and remember she wears the outfit for herself and everyone who is just like her. You just need courage to bring it out of you and you can almost be a superhero. It worked for her, and it can work for herself. And she has confidence she will defeat Rhea and retain her title at Summerslam.

San Antonio Spurs player and Olympic gold medalist Keldon Johnson is in the building.

Riddle is depressed backstage and says he didn’t give up on RK-Bro when Orton was gone for two months. And he’s very sad about it.

Nikki A.S.H vs. Rhea Ripley

After the match, Nikki rushes a taunting Charlotte ringside and Rhea clothesline’s her on the inside. Nikki and Rhea take turns on her before sending her out of the ring.

Recap of the Drew/Jinder saga.

Backstage, Jinder speaks with Veer and Shanky. He tells them he gave them the privilege of 1000 lifetimes by bringing him to RAW. Everytime he gets close to Drew, he brings out his sword and tonight is their last chance to take that sword away, before Jinder finishes him off at Summerslam.

MVP is backstage and he says to expect two of the most explosive forces in WWE history to engage in a combustible situation. The last time Goldberg was on RAW, he speared him and that disrespected The Almighty. Lashley plans on repaying Goldberg tonight.

Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal is made official for Summerslam.

Drew McIntyre vs. Veer and Shanky – Handicap Match

Drew pins Shanky with the Claymore for the win. Veer and Shanky will now be banned from ringside at Summerslam.

After the match, Drew says Shanky wants to tell him something. He wishes he was as good looking and talented as Drew and that he hoped he beats Jinder at Summerslam. Jinder screwed him over at Money In The Bank. He’s known him for over 10 years and he knows how to hurt him.

At Summerslam, he will create a moment at his expense that will live forever through intense humiliation. He asks San Antonio for everyone who thinks Jinder will win to raise their hands. He asks the same for Drew and the crowd cheers. He poses with Angela and says Jinder its screwed.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville is backstage. An angry Charlotte Flair says she was doing her job and was attacked. Sonya says she can wait five days or she can compete in a sanctioned tag match tonight to get some measure of revenge on Rhea and Nikki. Flair declines as she says she doesn’t play well with others. Sonya says take it or leave it. Charlotte frustratingly walks away.

Back from the break and we get a replay of the Elias vignette from last week where he tossed his guitar into a fire and declared that Elias is dead. We go back to the ring Morrison is waiting for the premiere episode of Moist TV. He welcomes everyone to the debut of the most moist talk show in WWE. He brings up last week’s moist miracle when Miz got up from his wheelchair and ran away on his legs. Morrison introduces Miz and out he comes to mostly boos.

Miz introduces himself as the first Moist TV guest and then gets a “Moist TV” chant going. Morrison asks Miz if he was pretending to be injured. Miz goes on about how he’s never lied to Morrison. The music interrupts and out comes Priest to a pop. Priest taunts Miz for being a liar as he enters the ring. Priest says he likes “moist see” TV better than Miz’s “must see” TV. Priest tries to stir the pot between Miz and Morrison, asking why Miz had Morrison wheel him around for weeks. Priest mentions how he will win the WWE United States Title from Sheamus at SummerSlam. Miz rants about how he’s never been injured and is the most durable WWE Superstar in history. Miz finally admits he was cleared a few weeks ago. This comes as a surprise to Morrison. Miz says he’s still not 100%. Priest says it looked like he was 100% last week. They go on back & forth on the mic and Miz tells Morrison how Priest is just trying to spin things like they do on Miz TV.

Morrison proposes Miz vs. Priest for tonight. Priest likes this idea but Miz doesn’t. Miz pleads with Morrison as a “yes!” chant breaks out. Priest ends up shoving Miz down into a kid’s pool full of water and rubber ducks. Miz seethes as we go to commercial and get ready for the match.

Backstage, Eva Marie says Doudrop blew it, but the Evalution is about second chances, and will take care of Bliss at Summerslam, but Doudrop can handle the other problem out in the ring.

Backstage, Morrison is walking and Miz asked him why he turned his back on him. Morrison says it’s because he feels like he’s been used and that he wanted Miz to know what it feels like. Miz says maybe he deserved it and asks if they can put it behind them. Morrison says it’s water under the bridge and talk about their plans for Summerslam. The New Day are behind them and plug their new merchandise when they weren’t looking.

We see how Alexa Bliss defeated Doudrop last week. Eva Marie is backstage with Doudrop now. Doudrop blames the loss on Lilly but Eva hushes her. Eva says Doudrop better be glad the Eva-Lution is all about second chances. She says before she takes care of the Bliss problem at SummerSlam, Doudrop should go to Bliss’ Playground to take care of their Lilly problem. Eva sends Doudrop off to bring Lilly to her. We see Bliss and Lilly at the playground now. Bliss tells Lilly Doudrop is coming to play with them, but Lilly better be on her best behavior. Back to commercial.

Mansoor vs. MACE

Ali kicks MACE in the face and Mansoor rolls him up for the win.

Winner: Mansoor

After the match, Mansoor and Ali retreat as the music hits. We go to replays. MACE and T-BAR look on and seethe as Mansoor and Ali celebrate.

– Sarah Schreiber stops AJ Styles and Omos backstage, asking about Riddle and Omos’ match with Randy Orton. Omos cuts AJ off and says Orton is known as The Legend Killer but tonight he’s going to kill the legend that is Orton. AJ says Omos is right, and Omos is going to be the new Legend Killer. AJ says he beat that moron Riddle earlier tonight so that makes him the Moron Killer. AJ says tonight they’re going to celebrate the death of R-K-Bro.

Omos vs. Randy Orton

AJ was caught trying to hurt Randy by the officials and Omos is DQ’ed in a match he dominated.

Winner by DQ: Randy Orton

After the match, Omos sends Orton over the barricade. He’s sent back in the ring and AJ prepares for the Phenomenal Forearm before Riddle comes out and fends off AJ and Omos. Omos retreats with AJ while Riddle stands tall. Riddle helps Orton to his feet.

Orton tells Riddle that respect his earned, but after turning his back on him and hitting him with an RKO, he still had his back so Randy will have his back and that RK-Bro is back. Riddle says that makes him happy and now that they are back, they will now challenge AJ and Omos for the tag titles at Summerslam. The crowd pops.

Jeff Hardy is backstage and saga Karrion left him gasping for air and that he’s angry about him being disrespected like that. Kross is dangerous but Jeff has lived off danger his entire life. He better check his hourglass, because his 15 minutes of fame is about to end. Kross clotheslined him backstage and says tick tock.

Karrion Kross vs. Jeff Hardy

Kross wins a quick match against a woozy Jeff with the Kross Jacket.

Winner: Karrion Kross

Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H vs. Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax

Charlotte gets a bling tag, boots Nikki off the top rope and hits Natural Selection on Rhea for the win.

Winners: Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax

Styles is asked backstage about their match at Summerslam. AJ says that Orton and Riddle have no chance because they have beaten everyone who has crossed their path and Orton will grow to hate Riddle in the 5 days they have before Summerslam.

Goldberg and Lashley is up next.

Goldberg is out next. He says before he speaks about Summerslam, he’s gotta address something else. Last week, Lashley and MVP cut a promo about fatherhood, and for the second week in a row, they brought his son into this. So he figure what the hell, why not beat them at their own game and bring his son into this.

He introduces Gage Goldberg, who is ringside with some of his football buddies. Goldberg tells him that 100%, he is the reason why Goldberg came out of retirement. Fact is, he can go online and see who Goldberg is, but he needs him front and center to experience who Goldberg IS. Who his father IS.

Lashley’s music hits, and out comes Lashley and MVP, lookin like Handsome Squidward.

MVP tells Goldberg that he THOUGHT he could be Goldberg of old, do the same ol song and dance, but when he locked eyes with Lashley, Goldberg saw it was going to be different this time. For the first time in his career, he’s ran into a man who is more dominant than Goldberg. He has run down on the Champion, Bobby Lashley.

Lashley says he gave Goldberg every chance to bow down and walk away and save himself the embarrassment, but he’s too stubborn and hard headed, so now he play by the house rules, and around here, the house always wins, and I know you want to have this proud Summerslam moment, and I’m going to give you that moment, so I’m going to leave you with just enough….whew, talk about conjunctions….jesus. Lashley says when Goldberg steps in this ring right here, he steps in the house of The Almighty.

Goldberg calls this bullshit.

Lashley hands his title over to MVP, goes for a cheap shot, Goldberg hits a spear. Goldberg grabs his son out of the audience and walks backstage with him.
