We begin with a recap of Summerslam.

Out comes Bobby and MVP. We get a recap of Lashley’s match with Goldberg. MVP says when he showed up on RAW, he and Lashley were shocked and show up to challenge Bobby for the title. We all know about Goldberg’s extraordinary history, but also his recent not so extraordinary history. What we know is that Goldberg is still a Hall of Famer and a powerhouse, making him a worthy opponent.

What they didn’t expect is him bringing his son, maybe he did it as a confidence booster or needed a distraction. What we know is that Goldberg looked amazing at Summerslam. There were a few times where Goldberg backed Lashley up a bit and scored some 2 counts. But the only thing he did was make Lashley angry, and the angrier Lashley gets, the more dominant he gets. Lashley takes his shades off. Goldberg got his ass beat and there is only one man that has stopped Goldberg, which is Lashley. He didn’t even have a leg to stand on and he quit. That makes him a coward. The end result was that Lashley was overwhelmingly still declared champion.

Out of nowhere, someone jumps the barricade and attacked Bobby from behind. And Bobby did what he would have done to anyone who jumped him from behind. He’d do that to anyone in this arena, but we won’t have to worry about that in San Diego, cause they’re all cowards. And if anyone thinks he owes someone an apology, Lashley says they can go to hell. Out comes Damian Priest.

Priest says they’re running their mouths and has an issue with them talking about Goldberg and San Diego. He says he’s not half of Lashley’s size, and he ain’t jumping Bobby from behind, but he wants a match tonight. If Bobby doesn’t want to accept the challenge, he’s the coward. Lashley attacks Proest and the two end up brawling. Priest gets a big boot and sends Bobby out of the ring. MVP accepts Priest’s challenge and says Bobby is gonna change in the back.

Bobby Lashley vs. Damian Priest

Sheamus attacks Priest from behind early causing the DQ.

Winner by DQ: Damian Priest

Sheamus and Bobby jump Priest after the match before Drew McIntyre comes out to even the odds. Drew knocks down Sheamus on the ramp and brawls with Lashley. Priest sends Sheamus over the barricade and Drew suplexes Lashley over the announce table.

Bobby Lashley and Sheamus vs. Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre

Lashley abandons Sheamus in the match out of frustration from taking a boot from Priest. McIntyre pins Sheamus with a Claymore from behind for the win.

Winners: Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest

Doudrop is interviewed backstage and she says it was a mistake to associate herself with Eva Marie. She didn’t sign up to be treated like she’s worthless and the next time she sees Eva, she’s going to “Doudrop” her. And she likes her name, and that’s who she is. Marie appears out of nowhere and attacks her with a moving container and slams her face in it a few times. She says she made her and this is Evalution.

Karrion Kross vs. Ricochet

Kross wins with the Kross jacket.

Winner: Karrion Kross

We get a digital exclusive segment with Big E, Logan Paul and Baron Corbin. Corbin takes issue with Paul getting interviewed instead of Corbin. Paul says it’s because Corbin’s an asshole.

Sheamus is backstage and finds MVP and Lashley and is pissed at them for leaving him hanging after saving him. Lashley says he didn’t  need saving and that the two aren’t in business and he warns Sheamus to get out of his face before they get down to business. Sheamus says nothing would please him more to get in the ring with him right now and the two get into it before Sheamus leaves.

Paul gets some heavy boos. He says he knows we don’t love him yet, but he loves us and the WWE. He wants to test the waters again. Morrison sees what he did there. Wet guys are the best guys. He brings up boxing, but the boos keep coming. They want to know what to expect next.

Miz tells Johnnie that he forgot to introduce Miz. Morrison says that both he and Logan love the spotlight. Logan says he is a New Day fan, and the crowd still won’t bite. They boo the shit out of him!

We get a recap of the women’s triple threat at Summerslam.

A pre-recorded segment shows Nikki ASH telling Rhea she isn’t going to let her Summerslam loss keep her down. She asks Rhea to be her tag partner against Nia and Shayna. Rhea says it would be a good way to blow off some steam and she accepts.

Priest says it feels like living the dream winning this US Title, and he says we’ll see how Priest measures up in drinking pints. Priest takes Sheamus up on his offer.

Out comes Charlotte Flair. She says that she told us so, and she ran out of fingers to count her number of reigns. She is the most decorated female in WWE and no one compares to the opportunity that is Charlotte Flair. She’s surprised no one has made a statue of her, because her accomplishments are unparalleled and no one has come close to the legacy she will leave. And she will hold onto the title as long as she physically can. She doesn’t need friends or family and the WWE Universe because she has everything she could possibly need in her hand. She poses with the title and pyro goes off.

She looked in the mirror this morning and saw her chiseled physique and talent that only God could have given her. And she saw your RAW Women’s Champion.

And tonight, she wanted to give us the opportunity to walk around in this suit with her title, and it’s time a real women held this title, and not a pretender who had her grubby hands on it for a month. She’s not playing around anymore. She started the first women’s evolution and she’s starting a new one. So we can thank her now or thank her later, but she is the queen and the champion. Long live the queen. Out comes Alexa Bliss.

Alexa congratulates Charlotte. Lilly and her just wanted to say hi. She stares at her from the ramp.

Nia and Shayna is backstage and Shayna asks if Nia is still happy with tagging with her after teaming with Charlotte. Nia says they’ve been through this. She saw an opportunity to get back in the RAW Women’s title picture and she took it until Flair stole her win after doing all the work. Baszler says that’s what she gets after teaming with someone else, especially someone like Charlotte with her history. Baszler says let’s focus on reminding everyone why they’re the Unstoppable Force.

Riddle goes on and introduces his partner. Out comes new RAW Tag Team Champion Randy Orton to a big pop. The ring is set up with a red apron cover and balloons all over the ring posts. Orton hesitates but makes his way in as Riddle tries to get him hyped up, all smiles.

Riddle has Mike Rome announce them as the new RAW Tag Team Champions. The pyro explodes as fans cheer them on. Riddle goes on about their friendship and then gifts Orton a custom scooter. Orton still isn’t thrilled as Riddle tells him how to use the scooter. The music interrupts and out comes AJ Styles by himself. Omos comes walking out a few seconds later. AJ points to how Orton now has a stupid scooter that Omos can break over his knee. AJ also points out how Orton didn’t get anything for Riddle. AJ talks about how he’s got a gift for Riddle – a Phenomenal Forearm. He’s going to beat Riddle up in the ring tonight, just like he’s done every other time they face off, and until they get their rematch. Riddle says AJ may have beaten him last time, but he’s got The Viper in his corner tonight and with that, he can do anything, and he will do so with the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment… R-K-Bro. Riddle pounds Orton as we go to commercial.
