We kick off the show with Damian Priest. He welcomes us to Monday Night RAW. He says the US Title will be shown the respect it deserves like previous champions before such as Mysterio, Hardy and Cena. But not like Bobby Lashley, who ran away like a coward last week. He promises us that he’ll handle this right. Enough talk, time for the US Open Challenge starts now. Out cones Sheamus.

Sheamus can’t believe he’s saying this but he agrees with Priest. Bobby likes running from a fight. And he loves Priest issuing an open challenge. He’s going to take the Brogue Kick, wipe the smirk off his face and take back his gold. Out comes Drew McIntyre. He says as much as he’d like to see Priest beat Sheamus again, he thinks it’s time for something new and fresh. There’s one title that’s eluded him, which is the WWE Title. He proposes Drew vs. Priest for the US Title tonight. He and Drew argue before Bobby comes out.

MVP says the Almighty wanted to hold an open challenge every week, but Bobby has beaten everyone already, so it makes no sense for Bobby to have an open challenge because it’s pointless. But for Damian, it’s admirable, but not good for business. What’s good for business is Bobby facing Priest to become a double champion. Out comes RK-Bro.

Orton says everything MVP just said sucks. He calls Bobby a greedy SOB that wants something he can’t have which is a second championship. Bobby says Randy is right because he does want a second title, but it doesn’t have to be the US Title. Maybe it should be the tag titles. Riddle challenges them to a match for the titles. MVP accepts on their behalf and tells Sheamus to handle Priest. Out comes Adam and Sonya.

They both agree that they have two main events in front of them. They announce that Priest will defend the US Title in a triple threat match against Sheamus and McIntyre while RK-Bro will defend the tag titles against MVP and Lashley.
