Welcome to EWrestlingNews’ WWE Monday Night RAW results for December 5, 2022!

The Bloodline walked out to start the show. We saw a backstage promo by The Bloodline where they said they don’t care who is in their way. Matt Riddle rode past them on a scooter. Solo Sikoa attacked Elias from behind before the rest of The Bloodline jumped in to take him out.

Back in the ring, The Bloodline did an in-ring promo about how they got some bad news – the Tag Team Title match scheduled tonight is canceled thanks to Solo taking out Elias.  Jimmy Uso said without a match tonight; they can focus on the fact that they’re the ones. Matt Riddle came out to say that it’s not very Ucey of The Bloodline to attack Elias. Zayn talked about Solo taking out Elias and The Usos being the longest reigning Tag Team Champions is Ucey.  Zayn told Riddle to get lost. Riddle said he found a tag team partner, and it’s Kevin Owens. 

Tag Team Title Match: Usos vs. Matt Riddle & Kevin Owens

The Usos went over with their finisher. Post-match, Owens chased off The Usos and Zayn while Sikoa attacked Riddle and hit him with the Samoan Spike in the ring.  Solo did a hip attack in the corner while having a chair around Riddle’s neck. 

There was a Judgment Day promo backstage where Rhea Ripley said everyone in the locker room will call her “Mami” after she wins and earns a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship.

The JBL Poker Invitational is shown backstage with various wrestlers. JBL said this tournament would become as big as The Master’s one day.  Dexter Lumis put a large purse on the table.  JBL said he didn’t invite him and mocked him for being weird. Lumis dropped a large sum of money on the table, so JBL accepted him into the tournament. 

Bayley and Becky Lynch did a promo in the ring. Lynch recalled all their times together. Lynch said it’d been three years since they last had a singles match together. Bayley said that their history doesn’t matter right now. Bayley called Lynch selfish, and Lynch said hopefully, Bayley will be woman enough one day to face her in a match. 

Triple Threat Contender Tournament Match: Asuka vs. Bayley vs. Rhea Ripley

Bayley won when she hit the Rose Plant on Asuka. Post-match, Ripley beat down Asuka. 

Seth Rollins came out to the ring for a promo. He announced that next week, he will face Bobby Lashley, with the winner becoming the new #1 contender to the United States Title, currently held by Austin Theory. Seth said Brock Lashley hadn’t been the same since he lost to Lesnar. He questioned whether Lashley was scared of Lesnar. They got into a brawl before being separated. In the process, Lashley accidentally speared Petey Williams. 

Austin Theory did a backstage promo about how he saw Lashley and Rollins as the past because the business has evolved and runs on his time. Mustafa Ali walked up and told him that he was always going to keep coming forward until he was the United States Champion. Theory said he would give him a title shot tonight, but tonight is his final shot.

US Title: Mustafa Ali vs. Austin Theory (champion)

The match ended when Ziggler superkicked Theory for the DQ. Ali confronted Ziggler and Ziggler didn’t care. They argued until Theory attacked both guys and laid them out.

The O.C. vs. Alpha Academy & Baron Corbin was set up after a verbal altercation at the Poker Invitational.

Anderson and Gallows won with their finisher to Corbin. 

Akira Tozawa vs. Dominik Mysterio

Dominik went over with the frog splash. 

Triple Threat Contender Tournament Match: Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross

IYO SKY and Dakota Kai powerbombed Lynch through the announce table. Bliss connected with Twisted Bliss to Cross for the win.
