Kevin Owens opens up the show, looking to address Roman Reigns, but he’s quickly interrupted by JBL. JBL takes shots at Alabama, before telling Owens that nobody actually believes that he can beat Reigns. He follows this up by introducing the only man to have a pinfall victory over Reigns – Baron Corbin.

Corbin heads down to the ring and says that nobody believes Owens can beat Reigns, teasing he’ll win the Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania opposite Reigns. Owens disregards their comments and challenges Corbin to a match, which JBL accepts on Corbin’s behalf.

Kevin Owens vs. Baron Corbin

Owens hits the Stunner for the victory.

Winner: Kevin Owens

After the match, The Usos come out and attack Owens but KO is able to fight them off. Solo Sikoa comes out and helps The Usos regain the momentum. They then send Owens into the barricade. Before they can beat him with a chair, Owens fights them off and gets control of the chair, fighting them off with it. Sikoa tries to go back at Owens but he’s held back by The Usos and Adam Pearce.

Backstage, Pearce tells The Usos and Sikoa that there will be a Tag Team Turmoil match tonight to determine the next challenger for the Tag Team Titles. He then tells Sikoa he has a match with Dolph Ziggler later, and he has dealt with Owens. Pearce lastly has The Usos escorted out.

Alexa Bliss then appears on top of the announce table and says that Bianca Belair is smart to avoid her because she’s the face of evil and doesn’t feel bad about what she did, because she hasn’t felt this good in a long time. She says she’s not afraid to tear more scars into Belair’s face. We get a video from Uncle Howdy, who asks Bliss if she feels in charge. He then heads to the ring and laughs while staring Bliss down.

Damage CTRL head down to the ring, followed by Michin. Bayley gets on the mic and has a message for Becky Lynch. She says that Lynch isn’t there tonight because she can’t stand that she lost to her. She gave Dakota Kai and IYO SKY the night off before telling Lynch to watch what she does to Michin.

Bayley vs. Michin

Bayley gets the rollup pin, with her feet on the ropes, for the win.

Winner: Bayley

We get Candice LeRae and Cathy Kelley backstage for an interview. Kelley asks for an update on Johnny Gargano’s injury, and LeRae says he should be back at 100% soon. LeRae then teases that the Royal Rumble match is on her mind, but Rhea Ripley walks in and says that she’s delusional for thinking she can win. LeRae tells Ripley she has just as good a chance as she does, and says they don’t need to wait until the Rumble. Ripley then accepts her challenge to the match.

We hear from Austin Theory, who gloats about his victory over Seth Rollins, poking fun at him for his knee injury and him not being here tonight. Rollins’ music then hits and he comes out on crutches. He even uses one of the crutches to play air guitar while the crowd sings along to his song. Theory says that the fans’ support doesn’t change that he beat him last week.

Theory says that if Rollins is the mountain top, he’s the pinnacle of the professional wrestling industry. He’s on to bigger and better things, such as winning the Royal Rumble. Rollins says that his knee isn’t 100 percent right now, but it will be for the Royal Rumble and the main event of WrestleMania, and says he’ll see Theory at the Rumble. However, as Rollins is leaving, Lashley’s music hits and he heads out.

Theory tells Lashley not to get in the ring, but Lashley doesn’t listen to him. Theory grabs one of Rollins’ crutches and looks like he’s going to use it on Lashley, but Lashley hits him with a Spear instead. He tosses Theory out of the ring and says it doesn’t matter who is in the Rumble, because he’s back, and he’s going to manhandle everyone.

Rhea Ripley vs. Candice LeRae

Ripley hits Riptide for the win.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Backstage we get Byron Saxton interviewing Bobby Lashley. He asks Lashley if he plans on entering the Royal Rumble, but MVP comes in and says they have some business to attend to. MVP says he’s trying to mend fences and wants to get back to doing what they do best. He’s already talked to Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander ahead of the Tag Team Turmoil match. Lashley says he won’t forget what went down before. They may be good now, but he has no interest in getting The Hurt Business back together. MVP accepts that but says his number hasn’t changed if he wants to talk.

We then get a backstage interview with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler says he’s out for revenge ahead of his match with Solo Sikoa. Mustafa Ali then walks in and asks Ziggler why he turned down a spot in the Tag Team Turmoil match later tonight, as they could’ve tagged together. He asks why he cost him another opportunity after interfering in his United States Title match weeks ago. Ziggler offers an apology, saying it’s not personal, before walking off.

Solo Sikoa vs. Dolph Ziggler

Sikoa hits the Samoan Spike for the victory.

Winner: Solo Sikoa

The Usos celebrate with Sikoa after the win.

Backstage, Bayley is interviewed and asked if she feels like her win today sent a message to Becky Lynch. She feels like it did, but is interrupted by Michin, calling her a fraud. She orders Kai and SKY to attack Michin, and they do.

We get a Miz TV segment now with Dominik Mysterio as the special guest. Mysterio comes out with The Judgement Day and says he learned that you always roll with your crew in prison. When asked what the inside of prison is like, Mysterio says “snitches get stitches.” When asked what happens on the inside, Mysterio says it’s either push or be pushed.

He said he did a lot of thinking, and said that if he got to see Ripley again, he’d do what he had to do. Mysterio says you need to grab life by the balls, like Maryse does to Miz, and recounts his experience with a cellmate. But Miz says he heard he was only in prison for a few hours, but Damian Priest stepped in, and Miz retreats. Priest then vows that he and Finn Balor will win Tag Team Turmoil tonight.
