WWE Monday Night RAW Results – January 20, 2020

Here are the results for the January 20, 2020 edition of Monday Night RAW.

Seth Rollins comes out with his faction to say that he’s come out to lead RAW into the future. He thanks us and he thanks Buddy Murphy for opening his eyes and embracing his fate. We get a recap of last week’s main event.

Rollins gloats some more before Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe come out. Owens says Rollins talks too much, and he congratulates Rollins for taking out Big Show. However, he says Big Show will deal with him eventually and they are still here.

Owens suggests less talking and more fighting. Rollins says they’re not going to fight now. Joe calls Rollins an asshat. Rollins dares them to fight all four of them. Joe says they’re not fighting alone and the Viking Raiders come out. All 8 men brawl and the faces stand tall.

Andrade (C) vs. Rey Mysterio – United States Championship (Ladder Match)

Rey Mysterio goes to climb the ladder, but Zelina cuts him off. Andrade hits Rey with a hammerlock DDT through the ladder and Andrade climbs to retain the title.

Winner: Andrade

After the match, Andrade attempts to DDT Rey on the exposed platform outside, but Humberto Carrillo returns to save him.

Aliester Black vs. Jobber

Jobber runs into Black Mass.

Winner: Aliester Black

Rollins and Murphy will be challenging the Viking Raiders for the RAW Tag Team Championships later.

Brock Lesnar and Heyman are out. He says that we take what Brock Lesnar does for granted because he delivers on the impossible. He says Lesnar entering the Rumble is a sign that he believes no one is worthy of challenging him for the championship at WrestleMania. Heyman asks us to name one. Out comes Ricochet.

Ricochet says others are afraid of Brock Lesnar, but he says that he isn’t afraid of anything because every time he takes a dive, he takes a risk. And he isn’t afraid to fight for a chance to go to WrestleMania. And he tells Brock he isn’t afraid of him either.

Ricochet enters the ring, Brock leaves, but then comes back and low blows him. He then leaves again.

Randy Orton is asked about people who say Drew McIntyre is on par with him to win the Royal Rumble. But he says it’s not possible when he can strike from nowhere.

Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre

The OC come out and attack Drew to cause a disqualification. Randy comes in with a chair and staves them off. He leaves but Drew calls Orton back. He says he should have hit the Claymore on him tonight, but he prays that they meet in the Rumble because he’s going to main event WrestleMania.

Orton drops the chair and pretends to leave before hitting the RKO.

Becky Lynch speaks to Asuka, and she says she’s coming to collect her debt. She admits defeat last year at the Rumble, but says she won in the end by main eventing WrestleMania while she went on YouTube making soup. At the Rumble, she will prove she can’t beat her anymore.

Becky Lynch vs. Kairi Sane

Asuka watches most of the match from the top turnbuckle before Becky knocks her out. She makes Kairi tap out with the Disarmer.

Winner: Becky Lynch

After the match, Asuka takes Becky out with a Shining Wizard and the Asuka Lock. Becky remains fallen in the ring.

The Viking Raiders (C) vs. Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy – RAW Tag Team Championships

Rollins shoves Ivar off the top turnbuckle onto the floor. Erik gets distracted, and Buddy gets a jumping knee. Curb Stomp from Rollins allows Buddy to get the pin. New champions.

Winners: Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy

Backstage, Rollins says this is only the beginning when he wins the Rumble for the 2nd year in a row.

We have a parody segment featuring the Street Profits and R-Truth.

Erick Rowan vs. Matt Hardy

Whatever is in the cage bites Rowan and he slams it into the steel steps. An easy squash for Rowan.

Winner: Erick Rowan

Backstage, Kevin Owens says that he and Rollins don’t have a lot in common, but they will when Owens sees him at the Rumble, because he’s declaring. He says he will win and main event WrestleMania at his expense.

Joe respectfully tells Owens that he will stand by his side to take down Rollins, but if he is standing in his way between him and WrestleMania, Joe will go right through him. Owens says nothing and walks away.

Rusev and Liv Morgan vs. Bobby Lashley and Lana

Lana grabs Rusev’s legs, and Lashley is able to get the win with a spear.

Winners: Bobby Lashley and Lana

Lashley and Lana celebrate as RAW goes off the air.
