We kick off the show with a backstage segment in which John Cena is greeted by the entire WWE locker room, as he makes his way around shaking hands and hugging various Superstars.

Money In The Bank Qualifying Last Chance Battle Royal

Riddle wins after nailing Miz with an RKO outside on the ring apron.

Winner: Riddle

We get The Street Profits backstage with John Cena. The Street Profits ask Cena for advice, as they’ve never been able to get past The Bloodline. Cena tells them to never give up.

We get a backstage interview with Riddle who shouts out Randy Orton after his big win. Riddle says John Cena told him to never give up before his match, hyping him up for the win.

Jey Uso vs. Montez Ford – Winner Picks Stipulation for Title match at MITB

Ford was able to hit the Frog Splash for the victory.

Winner: Montez Ford

We get a backstage segment with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio along with Finn Balor and Demian Priest, and Mysterio challenges them to a tag team match next week.

The Miz hits the ring and is interviewed and asked about Logan Paul saying he’s returning to WWE soon. Miz announces he and Paul will return as a team at SummerSlam.

AJ Styles comes out, still upset that Miz eliminated him from the Battle Royal earlier today, and smacks Miz, knocking him down as we go to commercial.

The Miz leaves in the middle of the match and lets himself get counted out.

We get a backstage segment with John Cena meeting Ezekiel. Cena gives Ezekiel advice as well, telling him to never forget who he really is. But Austin Theory walks up on Cena from behind and says he’d introduce himself, but he’s pretty sure Cena already knows who he is.

Theory hypes himself up and tells Cena he’s out of touch. Theory goes for a selfie but Cena leaves before he can take the shot.

Bianca Belair comes out to the ring for her face-to-face with Money In The Bank opponent Carmella.

Belair is interviewed and says Carmella isn’t respected by anyone, because Carmella doesn’t respect herself. Carmella comes out to the ring and says she takes respect, and she’ll take the title at MITB. Carmella leaves the ring and then tries to attack Belair from behind as she’s asked another question. But instead, Belair catches the kick and nails Carmella with a shot to end the segment.

Backstage Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan are interviewed. Bliss says they aren’t friends, but she does like Liv. Morgan agrees, and says friends lift each other up, and on Sunday, she’s knocking Bliss down off that ladder. Liv says her time is now and Alexa’s time is up. Liv also says she’ll beat Alexa tonight too.

Morgan reversed a DDT attempt from Bliss into a rollup pin for the victory.

Vince McMahon is to the ring for John Cena’s celebration next.

John Cena comes out to the ring and thanks the fans for their support over the years. He hypes up the crowd and tells them to get loud. Cena said he wants to say thanks now because he doesn’t know when he’ll be back in the ring again. He says he’ll be in the ring again, and it will be more than one match, he just doesn’t know when. Cena takes off his gear and tosses it into the crowd as he makes his way back to the backstage area.

Bobby Lashley vs. Chad Gable & Otis with Theory as Special Guest Enforcer

Lashley is able to submit Gable with a heel hook for the win despite interference from Theory.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

After the match Alpha Academy and Theory attack Lashley but he’s able to fight them off.

We get an exclusive interview with Cody Rhodes, providing an update on his recovery status. Rhodes says he’s being told nine months for recovery time thanks to the sledgehammer from Rollins. He also says he’ll be the first to congratulate Rollins if he wins the World Title.

We get a backstage segment with Seth Rollins and John Cena. Rollins hypes himself up, and say he’s going to win the MITB Ladder match. They’re interrupted by Omos and MVP. MVP says Omos’ victory is inevitable, and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it. Cena gawks at the size of Omos and sarcastically tells Rollins “good luck.”

Last Chance Women’s MITB Qualifying Elimination Match: Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki vs. Shayna Baszler vs Xia Li vs Tamina

Lynch wins by last eliminating Doudrop with a slam off the top rope. She’s now part of the Women’s MITB Ladder match.

Winner: Becky Lynch
