Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw. There is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw. The show opens up and Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns comes out to the ring. He comments on the big changes in the recent weeks: The Shield reuniting, him winning the IC Title… The crowd chants, “You deserve it!” Reigns says that it feels good to hear that and thanks the fans for their cheers. Then Reigns shows a clip from last week Miz being taken out. Reigns says that they won’t see Miz for a while (which is true because he will be filming a movie for the next little bit). Reigns says he is a fighting champion and issues an open challenge.
The Miz’s music starts to play but it isn’t Miz, it’s the Miztourage. Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas come out onto the main stage and say that Reigns has a lot of nerve insulting a great champion like The Miz. They know someone who wants to come show Reigns some respect. They introduce Elias, who comes out strumming his guitar. Elias says that Miz is a good guy, and when he saw his Miztourage hurting, he decided he wanted to help. So he will challenge Reigns for his title tonight. Reigns says it sounds like Elias wants to walk with the Big Dog, and agrees to a match for later tonight.
Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa and Mustafa Ali are backstage complaining to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle about the Zo Train. They say that Enzo Amore has his lackeys watching his back all the time and no one can get near him. Angle makes a match for next week to determine the No. 1 contender to Enzo’s Cruiserweight Championship.

He boots Joe in the face and pins him for a 2-count. Titus lands some big shots in the corner but then Joe counters, knocking Titus backwards with a shot of his own.
Joe wraps up the Coquina Clutch and forces Titus to tap out.
Winner: Samoa Joe
Joe hovers over Titus after the match and Apollo Crews jumps up into the ring to protect Titus. Joe and Crews end up scrapping and Joe chokes him out with a Coquina Clutch as well before heading to the back.
Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss comes out and joins the broadcast table. Sasha Banks enters for the 6-Woman tag team match but her partners are nowhere to be found. Then Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville come out and start cutting promos. The three women call their faction Absolution and they tell Sasha she’s either with them or against them. Sasha thinks about it for a second and then charges in. Absolution quickly gangs up and starts beating Sasha down. They all hit Sasha with their finishers and then pose for the crowd as their music plays.
Bray Wyatt comes out to the ring. He cuts a rambling, pointless promo intermixed with random bouts of maniacal laughter. He tells everyone they’re all dead, and keeps repeating it until Matt Hardy’s music hits and he comes out for their match.
Singles Match: Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt
Back from commercial and Bray has been dominating Matt. Corey Graves and Michael Cole talk about how Matt hasn’t been the same for a while and that something is going on with him. Bray uppercuts Matt hard in the corner and then follows up with a splash. Bray goes for a senton but Matt rolls out of the way and Bray flatbacks the mat. Matt starts landing some shots now. Matt delivers some clubbing blows and then a running bulldog. Matt goes for an axe handle off the second rope but Bray catches him and goes for a yurinagi. Matt blocks that and hits a Side-Effect for a 2-count.
Matt sets Bray up and goes for a moonsault but Bray rolls out of the way. Bray does the crab walk and then delivers a Sister Abigail to Bray for the 3-count.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
After the match, Bray leaves and Matt remains in the ring. Matt is buckled over and starts moaning and groaning. Then he starts saying “Delete!” and doing the hand gestures, as if by some involuntary breakdown. The commentators even state that Matt is breaking down before our eyes…
Jason Jordan is backstage talking to his dad Kurt Angle. He tells Angle that people think he was faking an injury to have an excuse in his match against Braun Strowman last week. He asks for an opportunity to prove himself against the guy who took out Strowman, Kane. Angle makes it so.
Cruiserweight Fatal 4-Way for the No. 1 Contenders Spot: Rich Swann vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Ariya Daivari vs. Noam Dar
Match begins and a brawl ensues. The ring is cleared and it ends up with Swann and Dar scrapping in the ring. Everyone gets back in now as Dar and Daivari team up on Tozawa. They double whip Tozawa hard into the corner and then throw Swann out of the ring to the floor. Daivari goes out and tries to suplex Swann on the floor. He can’t get him up, so he calls Dar over to help him. Together, they suplex Swann and drop him on the floor at ringside. Commercial break.
