WWE Monday Night Raw Results – November 5, 2018: Fallout From Crown Jewel

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw

Baron Corbin’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

We take a look at what Baron did on Friday evening at Crown Jewel to help Brock Lesnar win the Universal Championship.

Baron welcomes everyone to Raw.  He says not to be alarmed by the added security.  When you have someone as high profile as him, it is completely normal to have this many security guards.  He says we are coming up on an exciting time of year.  He is talking about Survivor Series.  Baron says the Universal Champion, after his dominating performance against Braun Strowman, will face WWE Champion AJ Styles.  Ronda Rousey will face Becky Lynch.  We will also have the tradition men and women elimination tag matches.  Every match is a chance for Raw to show that it is the dominant brand.

There is an extra incentive.  The Commissioner of Smackdown stole the title of Best in the World from Raw and Dolph Ziggler.  That will be address next week by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon.  Raw will be dominant at Survivor Series.  Then he will go from acting General Manager to permanent General Manager.  To prove that Raw shows its dominance, they need a great leader.  Baron says he is the captain of the Men’s Team.  Baron says he will not be able to compete in the match so he will put together the most dominant team imaginable.  The first two members of the Raw Survivor Series team are Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.  The third member of the team is Braun Strowman.

Baron says that what he did was a teaching moment.  Braun needs to respect authority.  Once Braun gets that in his head, Braun will be the team member that they need.

The women’s team needed a manager with great skills.  Choosing the members of the team will be their captain . . . Alexa Bliss.

Alexa makes her way to the ring and she thanks future permanent General Manager Corbin.  Alexa says she is honored and humbled to pick the best team possible.  Alexa will not be competing, but as a five time champion, you can learn a lot from her.  Alexa says she is a natural born leader and can lead the team to victory.  She will be watching your matches closely and she wants to see the killer instinct needed to win.  They will not be losing to the B Show.  This starts tonight.

Kurt Angle interrupts Alexa Bliss and he gets the crowd to say that he sucks.

Kurt says competing in the World Cup lit a fire in him.  He led Team Raw to victory last year at Survivor Series and he wants to compete again this year.

Baron tells Kurt that he gets to make the decisions.  He tells Kurt to take a permanent vacation.

Kurt says when he was in charge, they settled things in the ring.  Why not have a match tonight and if he wins, he will not only be on the team, he will be the captain.  Kurt asks Baron what kind of leader is he.  Baron tells everyone to step up, but Baron never does.  Kurt calls him an embarrassment to Raw.

Baron gives Kurt the match and he tells Kurt if he wins, he is the captain.  Baron says the only way Kurt is going to Survivor Series is with a ticket.  Kurt says the only way that Baron goes to Survivor Series is on crutches.

Alexa is about to announce that the six woman tag match is going to happen right now, but . . .

Her former Mixed Match Challenge Partner, Braun Strrowman’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and attacks security.  Braun chases Baron up the ramp but Strowman attacks people on the stage.

Braun makes his way to the back and he looks for Baron Corbin.  Braun says that when he finds Corbin, Baron will get these hands.

Bayley, Sasha and Natalya are asked if the result tonight will be any different than the match at Evolution.  Natalya says she will wear her dad’s sunglasses to the ring and this is for her dad.

Match Number One:  Natalya, Sasha Banks, and Bayley versus Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, and Sarah Logan

The Riott Squad attacks as the bell rings but Natalya blocks a Riott Kick and applies the Sharpshooter.  Liv distracts the referee and Sarah with a kick to get Ruby to escape.  Ruby gets a near fall.  Natalya is sent to the floor and Sarah is tagged in.  Sarah sends Natalya into the apron and connects with forearms.  Natalya is sent into the ringside barrier.  They return to the ring and Sarah gets a near fall.  Liv tags in and Sarah with a snap mare and Liv with a kick to the back for a near fall.  Natalya is sent to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Liv with a chin lock but Natalya escapes.  Liv keeps Natalya from making the tag and she kicks Natalya in the corner.  Liv with more kicks as the referee shows that he can count to four.  Liv with a double sledge to the back to stop Natalya from making the tag.  Sasha tags in anc hits a series of clotheslines followed by a drop kick.  Liv has a kick blocked and Sasha with a knee.  Sasha is sent to the apron and she hits a forearm and then hits a double knee strike to Sarah off the apron.

Sasha with Meteora to Liv and Sasha with a lungblower into Banks Statement but Ruby with a kick to force Sasha to release the hold.  Ruby sends Bayley to the floor and Ruby pulls Liv into her corner and makes the tag.  Sasha with a back slide and then hits a knee to the head.  Bayley tags in and hits a running knee and then Sasha with a double running knee strike.  Bayley with punches in the corner.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with a scarf of tag title belts and the Intercontiental Title around his waist.

We see what happened after Dean and Seth won the Tag Titles.

Seth says as ridiculous as this looks, he expected to have three title belts and a giant trophy.  Seth says he did not win, and Baron Corbin, their scumbag General Manager helped Brock Lesnar regain the Universal Title.  For everything that Roman Reigns worked for to take that title from Brock Lesnar, that is a slap in the face.  It is a slap in the face to Roman, to him, and everyone in the locker room.  It is a slap in the face to everyone here tonight.  Seth says he would say that to Brock’s face but Brock is not here tonight.
