Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw. There is a recap video of the TLC PPV. Kurt Angle walks down to the ring to start the show.

Angle says that he didn’t think things could get any better than being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame but competing in a WWE ring for the first time in 11 years was definitely something special. But that was last night, and this is tonight.

Angle starts laying out various matches that will take place at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view. Among them is Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal and there will also be some classic 5-on-5 elimination matches. One of the 5-on-5 matches will be a women’s match and the card will have a Raw vs. Smackdown theme. Angle is about to leave when The Miz’s music hits and he comes out. Miz starts giving Angle the gears for his selfishness. Does Angle think this is his show?

Angle should not have gotten involved in the match last night. He should have stayed out of it. Dean Ambrose even said he and Rollins would take on any number of superstars. But Angle had to go and abuse his power. Miz tells Angle this isn’t about him. He doesn’t deserve to be in that ring and he should resign immediately. Angle replies that that’s not going to happen and he’s going back to his office right now… But Miz says that’s not going to happen either…

Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and Curtis Axel all surround the ring. Angle waits with apprehension as the heels eye him down threateningly. Then The Shield’s music hits and they run in to drive off Miz and his cohorts. Miz tells Ambrose & Rollins that they’re doing a great job sucking up to management. But they need to realize that, again, the odds are not in their favor. Angle says he’s not so sure about that. He’s going to make a match involving Miz & The Bar vs. The Shield and one superstar who was at TLC last night and decided to stay an extra night.

AJ Styles’ music hits and the Phenomenal One comes out to the ring for the 6-Man Tag Team match.
