Here are the results for the 2-hour match card for WWE NXT Live from Osaka, Japan. From this point on, there will be **SPOILERS** for the show. Please do not continue if you intend on watching at a later date. The card was special as it featured the return of former WWE Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion Tajiri.
Also the main event was the full version of the previous Nakamura/Samoa Joe match for the NXT title, instead of the edited version which aired on December 7th. Please enjoy the show! And rest assured we’ll have someone covering NXT shows by this time next week.
NXT Live Results (28/12)
- Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Oney Lorcan – In surprising fashion, Oney Lorcan picked up the win after an Exploder suplex from the top rope.
- Liv Morgan & Aliyah vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce – Kay & Royce continued to make Liv Morgan’s life hell with another win over her and Aliyah following a Bulldog combination.
- Tajiri & Tozawa vs. DIY (c) – A big welcome back to Tajiri, always been a fan. He and Tozawa challenged DIY for the tag team titles, but the chemistry of DIY was too much to overcome. Tozawa lost the match for his team following a superkick/knee combo.
- Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax – These two powerhouses fought over the NXT Women’s title again. As always, Asuka was dominant and showed it by kicking Nia in the head to retain her title.
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe (c) – This was the full version of their match from a few weeks ago. After another hard-fought contest, Nakamura hit Joe with Kinshasa to claim the NXT Championship for the second time.
