Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT is presented from the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.

- Baron Corbin kicked off the show with an in-ring promo about how spoiled the NXT Superstars are. None of them have the talent to back up their egos, and he’s going to make sure the next people called up to the main roster have to earn it. Ilja Dragunov interrupted and challenged Corbin to a fight for later.
- Earlier today, cameras tracked how Thea Hail is pumped for the battle royal and Duke Hudson imparted some words of wisdom to her.
- During the commercial break, Bron Breakker attacked Dragunov backstage. It’s since been announced Trick Williams will face Baron Corbin later instead.
- Schism (Ava and The Dyad) defeated Diamond Mine by pinfall. Ava pinned Ivy Nile.
- Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo visited Tony D’Angelo in prison. Stacks thinks Gallus set D’Angelo up. D’Angelo wants Stacks to follow his gut and take care of the situation, as he’s the underboss, after all.
- Von Wagner’s search for a therapist isn’t going well. But when he finally comes across one who is a hot blonde woman, he’s willing to give it a shot.
- Blair Davenport defeated Dani Palmer by pinfall.
- Dana Brooke is in the house tonight for the battle royal.
- Baron Corbin defeated Trick Williams by pinfall.
- Nathan Frazer hosted another Hard Hitting Home Truths with Dragon Lee, who made fun of Noam Dar’s new group, calling them Noam’s Rent-a-Friends among some other names. Frazer wants to fight Dar for the Heritage Cup next week.
- Backstage, Wes Lee came over to Mustafa Ali’s interview with McKenzie Mitchell and suggested they fight for the North American Championship down the line. Ali said he wants to earn a title shot.
- Mustafa Ali defeated Joe Gacy by pinfall. Wes Lee and Tyler Bate backed Ali up.
- Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs hyped up Fallon Henley for the battle royal. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe approached them to complain about how Briggs and Jensen started this whole “teams in sync with each other” thing that has gotten under their skin. They asked them some questions about each other, which Jensen and Briggs naturally got right. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger then came over and walked off with BJ & JB. Gallus then approached Blade and Enofe to say they shouldn’t be playing these games. Blade then said he and Enofe are having a match next week.
- Backstage, Noam Dar and his crew were interviewed by McKenzie. Dar accepted Frazer’s challenge and dubbed his group The Metaphor.
- Eddy Thorpe defeated Damon Kemp by pinfall. Kemp’s foot was actually on the ropes, but the referee didn’t see it.
- Backstage, Gigi Dolin was talking to her brother about being ready to win the battle royal. Kiana James came over to her to talk some trash about how Dolin’s going to lose.
- Scrypts defeated Dabba-Kato by pinfall with some help from Axiom interfering. It was a quick pin and immediately after, Dabba-Kato beat down both Scrypts and Axiom.
- Backstage, Joe Gacy is upset that he’s not pulling his weight in Schism like the others.
- Also backstage, Ali, Bate and Lee talked. Ali suggests everyone wants to see Bate vs. Lee one-on-one. They agree. Next week, the three of them have a six-man tag team match, but they’ll settle on a time to do that match after.
- Next week also has the Frazer vs. Dar match for the Heritage Cup as well as Dragunov vs. Corbin among other things.
- Thea Hail won the NXT Women’s Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal by last eliminating Cora Jade and Dana Brooke at the same time.
- To end the show, Bron Breakker was approached in the parking lot and asked about why he attacked Dragunov. He said he wants to hold everyone accountable and that includes even Seth Rollins. Breakker wants Rollins to put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against him down in NXT.
