We take a look at the North American Championship Match from NXT Takeover New Orleans when Adam Cole became the first ever NXT North American Champion.

Cathy reminds us of Ricochet’s victory over Adam Cole at Takeover Brooklyn to become the current North American Champion.

We take a look at the nominees for Breakout Star of the Year. They are Ricochet, Dakota Kai, Lars Sullivan, Rhea Ripley, the War Raiders, Lacey Evans, EC3, and Bianca Belair.

We are back with a look at the history of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in NXT. We then take a look at the match between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa from Takeover New Orleans.

Cathy mentions the Street Fight between Gargano and Ciampa at War Games Chicago in June when Ciampa got revenge on Gargano.

At the start of 2018, Andrade Almas was your NXT Champion. He faced Aleister Black in New Orleans. We take a look at the NXT Title Match.

We take a look at the rise of Tommaso Ciampa and his match against Aleister Black that completed the road to the title for Ciampa.

Then we had the vicious attack of Aleister Black two weeks later after he got his rematch.

We take a look at Matt Riddle’s de-butt on Takeover War Games II against Kassius Ohno.

That was not the end for Ohno and Riddle because Ohno would get some revenge with an attack after Riddle defeated Punishment Martinez.

Kassius Ohno is in the back getting ready for his match.

We take a look at Bianca Belair versus Deonna Purrazzo from the NXT after Takeover Brooklyn.

Bianca will get another chance at Takeover when she faces Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship.

We take a look at the match between Johnny Gargano and Aleister Black at Takeover War Games II.

The feud was not over and we take a look at their match from two weeks ago inside a steel cage.

We see Johnny Gargano’s comments after his match against Aleister Black and he talks about how good a man he is for absolving Aleister Black of his sins. Johnny refuses to answer any questions about him working with Tommaso Ciampa. He says that he is the hero in all of this.

We see Matt Riddle getting ready for his match.

We take a look at the nominees for Male Competitor of the Year. They are Adam Cole, Pete Dunne, Andrade Almas, Ricochet, Velveteen Dream, Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black, and Tommaso Ciampa.

The nominees for Female Competitor of the Year are Ember Moon, Nikki Cross, Kairi Sane, Bianca Belair, and Shayna Baszler.

Match Number One: Matt Riddle versus Kassius Ohno

Ohno avoids a knee from Riddle but Riddle with kicks in the corner. Riddle with a running forearm and a second running forearm into the corner. Ohno blocks an exploder with elbows but Riddle is able to get him over. Riddle with a back senton. Riddle with a kick to the back. Riddle with a knee to the midsection followed by a chop. Ohno with a shot to the throat and a release suplex. Ohno with boots in the corner. Ohno puts Riddle’s leg in the ropes and Ohno with a boot to the head.

Ohno with a snap mare and rolling senton onto Riddle for a near fall. Riddle with a punch but Ohno with a boot to the head. Ohno with an atomic drop and Riddle is sent across the ring after the impact. Ohno with a cravate. Riddle with punches and Ohno sends Riddle to the mat using the ropes. Riddle with chops followed by a German suplex for a near fall. Riddle with kicks to the chest. Ohno blocks a kick and he connects with a bicycle knee and a cyclone kick for a near fall.

Ohno stands on Riddle’s head and then he connects with a forearm to the back. Riddle and Ohno exchange chops and Riddle with strikes and a round kick to the temple. Ohno with a bicycle kick and a back senton followed by a second one. Ohno goes for a third one but Riddle moves and goes for the Bromission and Ohno taps out.

Winner: Matt Riddle

Riddle wants Ohno to fist bump after the match, but Ohno refuses and starts to go up the ramp. Ohno looks at Riddle and goes back into the ring.

Kassius gets in the center of the ring, drops to a knee and offers his fist. Riddle goes for the Wonder Twins power moment but it was a trap and Riddle is sent into the ring post shoulder first and then Ohno sends Riddle into the ring post on the floor. Ohno sends Riddle into the ring steps. Ohno sends Riddle into the ring steps again. Ohno with a rolling elbow to Riddle. Ohno grabs Riddle’s hand and fist bumps him.
