WWE NXT Results – September 6th, 2017: Asuka’s NXT Farewell, Kassius Ohno vs. Hideo Itami

Welcome to WWE NXT. There was a video package of Hideo Itami losing his cool during his match with Oney Lorcan and Kassius Ohno having issues with Itami. Mauro Ranallo hyped Ohno vs. Itami and Asuka’s farewell later in the show. Our opening contest is….

Singles Match: Cezar Bononi vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas

They lock up and Almas landed a big chop then a side kick. Bononi with a reversal and a clotheslined followed up by a series of right hands. Bononi connected with a drop kick and went for a powerslam but Almas blocked and caught him with a kick to the face. Almas with a back breaker. Almas hit his DDT finisher for the win.

Winner: Almas

William Regal is shown backstage and made it clear that he has told Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly will not attack people anywhere except for the ring.

We see Ohno and Itami warming up backstage for their match.

Patrick Clark cuts a promo about how he will speak very soon despite him saying that he would not.

3-on-1 Handicap Match: Lars Sullivan vs. 3 jobbers

Sullivan started throwing them around the ring while showing off his strength. Sullivan hit his finisher to stop the destruction.

Winner: Sullivan

Lars starts attacking each guy after the match, but No Way Jose interrupts. Jose wants to know how tough Lars is when he is face-to-face with him. Jose throws the first punch, but Lars lays him out with a clothesline and just destroys him and walks away.

Sanity cuts a backstage promo about the only thing that they care about is making chaos.

Singles Match: Sonya Deville vs. Zeda

Deville with a waist lock that keeps Zeda grounded. Deville with a powerslam that sent Zeda to the floor. Deville locked in an armbar for the win.

Winner: Deville

Ruby Rio talks with Regal at the Performance Center about wanting to face Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Regal told her to find a tag team partner and that she would have a tag team match.

No DQ Match: Kassius Ohno vs. Hideo Itami

They start brawling and Itami sent him into the ring post. Itami hit a drop kick in the corner then hit him in the cut with a steel chair.

We’re back from break with Ohno in control of Itami. Ohno hit a big forearm shot that sent Itami to the floor. Itami crawled up the floor and Ohno landed some boots. Ohno hit a back suplex to Itami on the floor. Back in the ring, Itami knocked him down. Ohno with a right hand but Itami poked him in the eye and went for the GTS. However, Ohno hit a low blow then an elbow strike for the win.

Winner: Ohno

William Regal walked down to the ring and introduced Asuka, who cuts a promo about how much she loves NXT. She noted that she has grown so much while in NXT and is grateful. Regal called her one of the greatest champions in WWE history and has done it with honor. He noted that she has done everything to keep that title and NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III proved it. He announced that Asuka is in negations with Raw and SmackDown Live and that she would be stepping down as NXT Women’s Champion. He assured the fans that this is a great opportunity. She said that no one is ready for her.  The entire locker room came out and applauded her. Ember Moon walked down to the ring and hugged it out with Asuka. Triple H walked down to the ring and gave her roses. This closed the show.
