Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW

  • Asuka beat Shayna Baszler by pinfall.
  • Dana Brooke and Ricochet beat Slapjack and Reckoning by pinfall.
  • Kofi Kingston beat Shelton Benjamin by pinfall and then lost to Cedric Alexander by pinfall.
  • AJ Styles, John Morrison and The Miz beat Drew McIntyre and Sheamus by pinfall in a handicap match due in part to Sheamus accidentally nailing the WWE Champion with a Brogue Kick. After the match, they fought each other backstage to blow off some steam, but are still friends, as exhibited by how they both put Pat Buck through a table and walked off together.
  • Bobby Lashley defeated Jeff Hardy by submission.
  • Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton had no finish as Wyatt turned into The Fiend to end the show with a Mandible Claw.

NXT

  • Finn Balor kicked off the show to basically ask for a challenger. Pete Dunne came out, followed by Kyle O’Reilly, then Damian Priest. Balor just left while they were arguing, but said he’ll defend the title at NXT New Year’s Evil on January 6th and determining his opponent is William Regal’s job, not his problem. Scarlett then came out. Balor told her when Karrion Kross is ready, Finn’s ready. Priest then told Scarlett he’s up for a fight whenever Kross wants to step up to him like a man.
  • Pete Dunne was doing an interview and Killian Dain attacked him.
  • Jake Atlas defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott by pinfall. Scott refused to shake Jake’s hand afterward and was fuming.
  • Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Ever-Rise and Imperium by pinfall (James Drake pinned Chase Parker).
  • Toni Storm has her sights on the NXT Women’s Championship. Io Shirai came over to her to say she doesn’t like her and started a fight. They brawled from the backstage area into the ring. Storm tried to run away, but Ember Moon jumped her from behind and tossed her back into the ring so Shirai could nail Storm with a moonsault.
  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated Cameron Grimes by pinfall. During the match, Timothy Thatcher was ringside watching and Tyler Rust interfered to try to distract Ciampa, but was unable to make a difference.
  • Video: Xia Li and Boa train some more with Shifu.
  • Johnny Gargano came out with Candice LeRae, Austin Theory and Indi Hartwell for a promo about winning their matches at WarGames. Damian Priest came out to fight them, but Karrion Kross attacked Priest on the ramp.
  • McKenzie Mitchell tried to talk to Tyler Rust about how he interfered in the Ciampa/Grimes match on behalf of Timothy Thatcher. Malcolm Bivens said he wanted to talk to Rust and they went off together.
  • Pete Dunne defeated Killian Dain by pinfall.
  • Since Priest was attacked by Kross, Kushida volunteered to take his spot and team with Leon Ruff next week against Austin Theory and Johnny Gargano.
  • Raquel Gonzalez defeated Ember Moon by pinfall. Toni Storm came out after the match, ready to attack Moon. Rhea Ripley came to Moon’s aid and had another staredown with Gonzalez.

MAIN EVENT

  • Keith Lee defeated Angel Garza by pinfall

NXT UK

  • Jordan Devlin defeated Oliver Carter by pinfall to retain the NXT Cruiserweight Championship
  • Isla Dawn defeated Xia Brookside by pinfall.
  • A-Kid retained the NXT UK Heritage Cup over Tyler Bate.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN

  • Sasha Banks and Carmella were supposed to have a contract signing, but The Boss decided to challenge Carmella to fight her for the title tonight instead, rather than waiting until TLC.
  • Dolph Ziggler defeated Montez Ford by pinfall.
  • Sami Zayn beat Big E by count-out.
  • Kevin Owens cut a promo about TLC and called out Roman Reigns. Jey Uso attacked Owens, who was able to fight back. Reigns came out, but opted not to fight Owens since that would mean he’s calling the shots, not Roman. After the commercial break, Owens was attacked by Reigns backstage.
  • The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott) defeated Billie Kay and Natalya by pinfall.
  • Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Chad Gable and Otis by pinfall.
  • Carmella defeated SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks by disqualification when The Boss refused to yield to the referee’s five-count.

205 LIVE

  • Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese defeated The Bollywood Boyz (Samir Singh and Sunil Singh) by pinfall
  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: Ashante “Thee” Adonis, August Grey and Curt Stallion defeated Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) by pinfall
