Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- The show started with Drew McIntyre cutting a promo about Royal Rumble. Edge came out and they teased that he may pick him for his WrestleMania challenge. Sheamus then popped up and nailed McIntyre with a Brogue Kick, turning heel on his best friend.
- Matt Riddle defeated Bobby Lashley by disqualification in a United States Championship match when Lashley refused to restrain himself to the referee’s five-count.
- Xavier Woods defeated Mustafa Ali by pinfall.
- After a MizTV segment that included Bad Bunny, Damian Priest beat The Miz by pinfall.
- The Hurt Business retained the Raw tag titles over Lucha House Party by pinfall.
- Lana and Naomi became No. 1 contenders to the women’s tag titles after winning a Triple Threat match that featured Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose as well as Asuka and Charlotte Flair.
- Carlito and Jeff Hardy beat Elias and Jaxson Ryker by pinfall.
- Alexa Bliss defeated Nikki Cross by pinfall.
- Edge defeated Randy Orton by pinfall with a little help from a distraction by Alexa Bliss.
NXT
- Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals Match: Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez defeated Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter by pinfall.
- Austin Theory defeated Leon Ruff by pinfall.
- Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinals Match: Legado Del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) defeated Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) by pinfall.
- Finn Balor and Pete Dunne will fight at TakeOver: Vengeance Day. Edge interrupted their promo and said he’ll be watching and might pick the winner for his WrestleMania challenge.
- Kushida will face Johnny Gargano for the North American Championship at TakeOver, too. They fought backstage.
- Toni Storm vs Jessi Kamea ended with Mercedes Martinez (and eventually, Io Shirai) fighting with Storm and the referee throwing the match out.
- NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match: Santos Escobar (c) retained the title over Curt Stallion by pinfall.
- Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinals Match: Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa defeated The Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole and Roderick Strong) by pinfall.
MAIN EVENT
- Angel Garza defeated Ricochet by pinfall.
- Humberto Carrillo defeated Drew Gulak by pinfall.
NXT UK
- Nina Samuels defeated Xia Brookside by pinfall
- Joseph Conners defeated Josh Morrell by pinfall
- Ilja Dragunov defeated Tyson T-Bone by submission and snapped again as he’s been doing lately. Sam Gradwell called him out on his tantrum.
- Joe Coffey defeated Danny Jones by pinfall
- Jordan Devlin defeated Dave Mastiff by pinfall.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- Dominik Mysterio defeated King Corbin by pinfall.
- Cesaro defeated Daniel Bryan by submission.

- Big E retained the Intercontinental Championship over Apollo Crews and Sami Zayn.
