WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week

Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

  • The show started with an announcement that Drew McIntyre will fight Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The Miz and John Morrison talked, as did McIntyre, and people came to blows, including Sheamus attacking Lashley and then saying he’s still gunning for the title and such.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated The Miz by submission using Lashley’s finisher.
  • Braun Strowman called out Shane McMahon and challenged him to a match.
  • Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke defeated Lana and Naomi by pinfall.
  • The New Day defeated The Hurt Business to win the Raw Tag Team Championship by pinfall.
  • Bad Bunny gave the 24/7 Championship to R-Truth in exchange for some Stone Cold Steve Austin merchandise.
  • Damian Priest defeated Jaxson Ryker by pinfall. The Miz nailed Bad Bunny with Elias’ guitar after the match.
  • Shane McMahon played some hopscotch to warm up for his match with Braun Strowman and eventually hit him with a camera, did a flying elbow drop through the commentary table and poured a bucket of green Nickelodeon slime on Braun.
  • Asuka defeated Shayna Baszler by pinfall.
  • Riddle defeated Mustafa Ali by pinfall to retain the United States Championship.
  • Bobby Lashley defeated Sheamus in the main event.

  • Finn Balor cut a promo about how he’s beaten everyone who has come his way and at TakeOver: Stand and Deliver, time is up for Karrion Kross. Scarlett said she had a premonition of the two of them draped in gold. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan then came out to talk some smack and Scarlett suggested a tag title match and goaded Lorcan and Burch into the challenge.
  • Dexter Lumis defeated Austin Theory by submission.
  • McKenzie Mitchell was approached by Tommaso Ciampa, who has attacked Alexander Wolfe and plans on taking out the rest of Imperium tonight.
  • Adam Cole cut a promo on wanting to fight Kyle O’Reilly, who isn’t there tonight (likely a COVID quarantine situation). O’Reilly did show up on the TitanTron with a video about how he’ll get revenge on Cole, though.
  • The Robert Stone Brand will challenge Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship next week.
  • Jordan Devlin has arrived.
  • Legado del Fantasma defeated Breezango by pinfall.
  • Jordan Devlin came out, as he said he would. He will fight Santos Escobar for the Cruiserweight Championship at TakeOver: Stand and Deliver. Devlin then dropped Escobar to make a statement.
  • Dakota Kai defeated Zoey Stark by pinfall.
  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated Marcel Barthel by pinfall. WALTER then appeared and took out Ciampa along with Barthel and Fabian Aichner.
  • William Regal checked on a police scene where supposedly, Kyle O’Reilly tried to run Adam Cole off the road.
  • LA Knight defeated August Grey by pinfall. Bronson Reed ruined LA Knight’s jacket during the match.
  • NXT Tag Team Champions Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan defeated Finn Balor and Karrion Kross by pinfall to retain the titles. Burch seems to have suffered an injury.

  • Lince Dorado defeated Akira Tozawa
  • Humberto Carrillo defeated Angel Garza

  • Nathan Frazer defeated Ashton Smith by pinfall.
  • Meiko Satomura defeated Dani Luna by pinfall.
  • Jordan Devlin retained the Cruiserweight Championship over Trent Seven by pinfall.

  • Sasha Banks retained the SmackDown Women’s Championship over Nia Jax by pinfall.
  • Seth Rollins cut a promo about Cesaro. Afterward, Shinsuke Nakamura came out to fight with Rollins.
  • The Mysterios defeated The Street Profits by pinfall. Alpha Academy came out after the match to challenge for a match (because there always has to be double-duty matches on each TV episode these days) and defeated The Mysterios by pinfall.
  • Promo: Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns both said they’ll beat the other one at Fastlane.
  • King Corbin defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall. Zayn nailed Kevin Owens with the Helluva Kick after the match.
  • Natalya and Tamina interfered in the match between Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler, attacking both of them.
  • Edge defeated Jey Uso by pinfall to become the special enforcer for Fastlane.

205 LIVE

  • Ashante “Thee” Adonis defeated Ariya Daivari by pinfall.
  • Jake Atlas defeated Tony Nese by pinfall.
