Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- The show started with a promo from Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, who brought out Heath Slater as evidence of McIntyre leaving his friends behind. Slater mentioned how McIntyre promised him a title shot before he had gotten released and he was there to cash in on it. McIntyre quickly retained over Slater with one Claymore and then saved Slater from a post-match beating from Ziggler. McIntyre and Slater hugged it out.
- Kairi Sane beat Sasha Banks by disqualification after Bayley interfered.
- Aleister Black was attacked backstage and, after a KO Show, replaced by Kevin Owens as Rey Mysterio’s tag team partner as they beat Seth Rollins and Murphy by pinfall. Mysterio picked an Eye for an Eye Match for his match against Rollins at Extreme Rules.
- MVP and Bobby Lashley unveiled the new United States Championship and then beat Cedric Alexander and Ricochet by pinfall.
- Randy Orton, Angel Garza and Andrade beat Big Show and The Viking Raiders by pinfall.
- Billie Kay beat Ruby Riott by pinfall.
- Asuka defeated Bayley by pinfall.
NXT GREAT AMERICAN BASH NIGHT 2
- Street Fight: Candice LeRae defeated Mia Yim by pinfall
- Bronson Reed defeated Tony Nese by pinfall
- Backstage, Shotzi Blackheart turned down an offer to join The Robert Stone Brand. Killian Dain then attacked Robert Stone out of nowhere and Shotzi ran Stone’s leg over with her tank.
- Johnny Gargano defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott by pinfall
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde defeated Drake Maverick and Breezango by pinfall.
- Mercedes Martinez defeated Santana Garrett by pinfall.
- Champion vs Champion Winner Take All: Keith Lee defeated Adam Cole by pinfall to win the NXT Championship!
MAIN EVENT
- Titus O’Neil defeated Akira Tozawa by pinfall
- Bianca Belair defeated Peyton Royce by pinfall
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- Jeff Hardy was on MizTV. The Miz and John Morrison suggested Hardy face Sheamus in a Bar Fight, which Hardy accepted.
- Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz by pinfall.
- Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss and Bayley by pinfall.
- Naomi beat Tamina, Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans in a karaoke showdown. Evans got mad afterward and attacked Naomi. The match broke down with Tamina and Brooke getting involved in the scuffle, too.
- The New Day vs Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura ended in a double disqualification as both teams continued to fight and ignore the referee’s orders. Kofi Kingston was put through a table to end the show.

- Santos Escobar defeated Oney Lorcan by pinfall.
