WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week

Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

  • The show started with Bobby Lashley telling Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin that The Hurt Business isn’t a thing anymore and they should stop trying. Lashley and MVP then had a promo in the ring with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. After Lesnar told him he only knew his name after Day 1 and if they had crossed paths before, he’d have beaten him already, then told a knock knock joke about “Bobby who?”, Lashley beat up Benjamin and Alexander.
  • Alpha Academy defeated RK-Bro by pinfall to win the Raw Tag Team Championship.
  • Dirty Dawgs and Apollo Crews defeated Damian Priest and The Street Profits by pinfall.
  • Seth Rollins defeated Big E by pinfall.
  • Super Brutality broke up in the ring. Rhea Ripley told her she’s always believed in her and hoped they could stay friends. Nikki A.S.H. then went after Ripley and said “almost superheroes don’t need any friends.”
  • R-Truth and Akira Tozawa went after the Philly cheesesteaks Dana Brooke and Reggie had, which prevented Tamina from finding a way to get the 24/7 Championship. Reggie then bumped into Omos backstage, who manhandled him and told him to watch what he does next, because next week, he’ll do worse.
  • Omos defeated Nick Sanders by pinfall.
  • Cutting Edge: Edge and Beth Phoenix talked trash about The Miz and Maryse.
  • AJ Styles defeated Austin Theory by disqualification due to interference by Grayson Waller.
  • Alexa Bliss spoke to her therapist and trashed his office.
  • Triple Threat No. 1 Contender’s Match: Doudrop defeated Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan by pinfall to earn a title shot against Becky Lynch for Royal Rumble.

  • The show kicked off with Bron Breakker cutting a promo on how great Tommaso Ciampa is and how he’s the NXT champion now, so he will prove why he earned this title each and every week.
  • Santos Escobar defeated Xyon Quinn by pinfall due in part to Elektra Lopez low-blowing Quinn.
  • Mandy Rose had a photo shoot in a bikini holding her championship, talking about how she retained her title at New Year’s Evil. She makes the belt look hot.
  • Cameron Grimes defeated Damon Kemp by pinfall.
  • Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Play-In Match: Edris Enofe and Malik Blade defeated Joe Gacy and Harland by disqualification after Harland didn’t heed the referee’s five-count.
  • Crowbar on a Pole Match: Tony D’Angelo defeated Pete Dunne by pinfall.
  • Vignette: Toxic Attraction spoke about how great they are.
  • Indi Hartwell, Persia Pirotta and Wendy Choo defeated Amari Miller, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter by pinfall.
  • Backstage, MSK came across the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic cup. They hyped themselves up about winning the tournament again. Then, Dakota Kai came over to them and mentioned that she also won the tournament. Nothing divides a team more than success.
  • Backstage, Kay Lee Ray ruined the photo shoot set Mandy Rose was using.
  • Solo Sikoa vs Boa ended in a double count-out. After brawling to the back, Boa threw a fireball at Sikoa’s face.
  • Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams cut a promo in the ring about how Hayes defeated Roderick Strong to unify the North American and Cruiserweight Championship.
  • AJ Styles defeated Grayson Waller by pinfall. Then, Styles ushered in the return of LA Knight, who went after Waller and sent him packing before posing with Styles in the ring to end the show.

  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated T-Bar
  • Pete Dunne defeated Akira Tozawa

  • Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz defeated Die Familie’s Teoman and Rohan Raja by pinfall. Gallus had come out toward the end of the match to stop Charlie Dempsey from interfering on behalf of Raja and Teoman. Die Familie then brawled with Gallus post-match.
  • It is now official that Ilja Dragunov will face Jordan Devlin in two weeks.
  • Amale defeated Stevie Turner by pinfall.
  • Sid Scala spoke to Pretty Deadly, who complained about Sam Gradwell. Scala suggested a match next week against Gradwell and a partner of his choosing. Pretty Deadly took that as a handicap match since Gradwell has no friends.
  • Jinny interrupted Amale’s interview to call her weak and fragile. Amale immediately flipped out and went after Jinny, but they were broken apart by officials and referees.
  • WALTER defeated Nathan Frazer by pinfall.

  • The Viking Raiders defeated Cesaro and Mansoor, Jinder Mahal and Shanky, and Los Lotharios in a No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way match to earn a shot at The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
  • Sami Zayn wanted to show-up Johnny Knoxville with his own version of Jackass called “InZayn”. Instead of actually jumping the ring in a shopping cart, he refused to get hurt over nothing. Rick Boogs then provided a distraction so Shinsuke Nakamura could hit Zayn with a Kinshasa. Boogs then tossed Zayn out of the ring.
  • Aliyah defeated Natalya by pinfall to set a new record.
  • Lita spoke to Michael Cole about entering the Royal Rumble and trying to kickoff one more run in her. Charlotte Flair came out to say she’ll win the match and end Lita’s hopes. Lita took out Flair with a Twist of Fate.
  • Sheamus defeated Ricochet by pinfall
  • Naomi had another confrontation with Sonya Deville backstage. Adam Pearce agreed to give Naomi another match against Charlotte Flair next week.
  • Madcap Moss defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall.
  • Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins had a face-off in the ring (aka, a promo segment).

205 LIVE

  • Bodhi Hayward defeated Guru Raaj by pinfall.
  • Ivy Nile defeated Valentina Feroz by submission.
