Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- At the start of the show, Brock Lesnar chose Roman Reigns for WrestleMania, but also challenged Bobby Lashley to a rematch for the WWE Championship. Lashley and MVP declined. Adam Pearce then said Lesnar was automatically entered into the Elimination Chamber match to compensate.
- Rhea Ripley defeated Nikki A.S.H. by pinfall.
- Alexa Bliss has another therapy session, where she smiles at a Lilly replica doll.
- The Miz defeated Dominik Mysterio by pinfall.
- KO Show: Kevin Owens had Seth Rollins as his guest. Rollins said he’s automatically in the Elimination Chamber match. Owens tried to convince him to complain that he’ll walk out of the match unless Owens is automatically entered instead of having to qualify, but Rollins wasn’t into the idea.
- Austin Theory defeated Kevin Owens by pinfall to qualify for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match.
- Angelo Dawkins defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall.
- Chad Gable won a scooter race against Riddle due to interference by Otis. Riddle then defeated Otis by pinfall to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.
- Bianca Belair defeated Carmella by pinfall.
- AJ Styles defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall to qualify for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match.
- Ronda Rousey said she’ll pick her opponent on Friday night. Lita then challenged Becky Lynch to a title match at Elimination Chamber.
NXT
- Imperium defeated Diamond Mine by pinfall.
- Toxic Attraction cut a promo about how they’ll defend the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship against Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta at Vengeance Day. Then, Mandy Rose spoke about how great she is. Kay Lee Ray interrupted and they talked trash about/to each other. Ray slapped Rose down to make a statement.
- Raquel Gonzalez defeated Cora Jade by pinfall. Following the match, Gonzalez offered a hand to Jade to help her up. She then said “let’s go win this” and they walked off together, ready to form a team for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
- Sarray defeated Kayla Inlay by pinfall.
- Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams had a promo in the ring that was interrupted by Cameron Grimes to hype their North American Championship match at Vengeance Day
- Backstage, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade were debating which name should go first for their tag team when Mandy Rose came in and stumbled into Blade’s arms. Kay Lee Ray chased after her and Blade implied he couldn’t get up out of his seat because he had an erection.
- Joe Gacy defeated LA Knight by pinfall due in part to some interference by Grayson Waller.
- Robert Stone touted how great his signing of Von Wagner is and how successful Wagner’s future will be.
- Wendy Choo defeated Amari Miller by pinfall and managed to swipe Tiffany Stratton’s credit card, too.
- Backstage, Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis tried to persuade Persia Pirotta in her love life. Brooks Jensen asked some advice in relation to Kayden Carter.
- Vignette: Draco Anthony is hyped up for his NXT debut, despite how he’s wrestled multiple times already.
- Vignette: Nikkita Lyons is coming soon.
- McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Sarray, who said when she wears that necklace, she can do anything. Dakota Kai came over to poke fun and say no matter how strong a relationship is, the sun always sets on it.
- Andre Chase defeated Draco Anthony by pinfall.
- Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Legado del Fantasma by pinfall.
- Kay Lee Ray was able to bully Mandy Rose into agreeing to a title match next week before laying her out to end the show.
MAIN EVENT
- Veer Mahaan defeated Akira Tozawa
- Liv Morgan defeated Doudrop
NXT UK
- Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith defeated Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz by pinfall to earn a title shot for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship.
- A-Kid tried to teach Saxon Huxley some etiquette. It’s not going well, but he’ll try again next week.
- Nathan Frazer was jumped by Die Familie in the parking lot.
- Isla Dawn defeated Myla Grace by pinfall.
- Nina Samuels picked a fight with Amale backstage. Amale told her they’ll settle it in the ring.
- Sam Gradwell knows not everyone likes him, but he’s not a cockroach who will run from a fight, and Kenny Williams is his next target.
- Gallus wants in on Supernova Sessions, but Noam Dar and Sha Samuels turned them down in favor of Jordan Devlin.
- NXT UK Women’s Championship Japanese Street Fight: Meiko Satomura (c) retained after Blair Davenport was ruled unable to continue due to an injury.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- Paul Heyman started the show speaking on why he rejoined up with Roman Reigns. Essentially, he saw the error of his ways and jumped ship, as simple as that. Goldberg came out to challenge Reigns to a title match at Elimination Chamber.
- Ricochet defeated Ridge Holland by pinfall.
- Ridge Holland and Sheamus defeated Ricochet and Cesaro by pinfall.
- Jimmy Uso defeated Erik by pinfall.
- Aliyah defeated Natalya by count-out.
- Drew McIntyre cut a promo on rehabbing his injury and returning at Royal Rumble. He was interrupted by Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss. McIntyre saw a sneak attack coming, asked Moss for a joke about himself, laid him out and said he would make those two’s lives a living hell.
- Sami Zayn asked Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville when he’ll get his Intercontinental Championship match. They offered him next week, but he said he needs time to recover after being shocked by Johnny Knoxville. They opted for the week after, instead. Natalya then stormed into the office to demand a pinfall or submission only match against Aliyah for next week and was granted it.
- Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Jinder Mahal by pinfall in a Champion Contender’s Match.
- Naomi wanted to fight Sonya Deville, but Deville backed out of it and gave her a title match against Charlotte Flair for next week instead.
- The New Day’s Big E and Kofi Kingston defeated Los Lotharios by pinfall.
- Charlotte Flair was informed by Sonya Deville that Becky Lynch said Ronda Rousey has picked her for WrestleMania. Deville tells Flair that she can pick her opponent, then. Flair picked Sasha Banks. Ronda Rousey then came out to talk some trash and say she’ll see her at WrestleMania. Flair called the title her baby and said she’s prettier than Rousey’s kid. Deville tried to cool Rousey down, so Rousey locked her in an armbar.

- Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter defeated Fallon Henley and Lash Legend.
