Kickoff
- This new method of picking numbers with the little envelopes on the wall doesn’t hold a candle to the gold tumbler. I miss that.
- I love that Drew McIntyre said picking his number was bad news, only for Bad News Barrett to be happy about that. Fantastic.
- Roman Reigns wants The Usos to stay in the back tonight. This is definitely the Sami Zayn show for his final test.

Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match
- So this is exactly what I anticipated, for the most part. They have glow in the dark lighting and it is No Disqualification.
- At least its a blue light type environment, rather than fully dark or the red light from The Fiend. It’s still probably horrendous for people in the arena to see.
- Not much to this. They brawled for a few minutes. Wyatt won with Sister Abigail.
- After the match, Wyatt put on a new mask and stalked LA Knight, chasing him away from ringside.
- Wyatt no-sold several kendo stick shots to the head like they were nothing. He locked in a Mandible Claw on Knight.
- Uncle Howdy appeared and jumped off the top of the set onto LA Knight (more so, missing him, but landed in the area of cardboard boxes and padding that was meant to break the fall). This triggered some pyro to go off.
Raw Women’s Championship Match
- Michelle McCool is ringside to watch this match with her daughters.
- Nothing at all drew my attention to the match. The crowd wasn’t super hot, either. This was in a rough spot and they had nothing that stood out to get people to pop. Basically, it was just a match for the sake of it. And if nothing happens AFTER the match, it’ll have been a pretty wasteful segment.
- As I type that, the video screens start showing previous clips of Bliss in her twisted character. A voice over asked “Do you feel in charge?” and Bliss looked scared in the ring.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match
- Solid match, back and forth. Nothing crazy happening.
- Kevin Owens kicks out of a spear.
- Referee is down. Owens hits a stunner for more than a 3-count, but no official can count the pin. Reigns nails Owens with a low blow to capitalize.
- The Tribal Chief told Sami Zayn to do nothing at first, but now, he’s ordering him to get a chair. Zayn hesitated, but passed it to the ring and said “do it.”
- Owens capitalized on the hesitation and hit a stunner for a close 2-count!
- Reigns hits another spear for another 2-count. Zayn is begging Owens to stay down.
- Reigns spears Owens through the security barricade.
- Roman slams Owens into the steel steps twice, eventually gets another spear and retains.
- The Bloodline celebrates in the ring, but before Zayn is allowed to have a lei placed around his neck by The Usos, Roman orders them to beat down Owens.
- Owens is then handcuffed to the ropes and blasted with about a dozen superkicks or more.
- Reigns is about to hit Owens with a steel chair, when Zayn steps in to stop him. He pleads that this is beneath him as champion. Reigns agrees and says Zayn should do it, instead, handing him the chair. Zayn says he doesn’t want to. After trying to bully him, Zayn hits Reigns in the back with the chair instead and throws it down. Jimmy Uso is pissed and attacks Zayn. Solo Sikoa does, too. But Jey Uso is conflicted and leaves. Reigns, Sikoa and Jimmy beat down Zayn and Owens some more to end the night.
