WWE Smackdown (10/3) Results: Ambrose & Cena Vs. Orton & Kane

A Raw recap video is shown of the main event of this past Monday’s show.

Welcome to Friday night Smackdown, John Cena comes out to the ring to open the show. He cuts a promo about how he was going to beat Brock Lesnar for not just him, but before all the fans that believed in him. He also brought up that Seth Rollins cost him his title in that match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Night of Champions.  He calls out Seth Rollins, but Dean Ambrose makes his way out to the ring. Ambrose said that Cena is not the only one who had an issue with Seth Rollins. Cena said that he does not want to do this with him, but Ambrose said that this is kind of his thing and Cena got in his way on Raw. Cena said that Ambrose has never faced Brock Lesnar and he had him beat until Rollins cost him. Ambrose said that Cena did not get his head put through cinder blocks, but he did and he will be the one who gets his hands on Rollins. Cena said whoever gets to him first, then they get Rolling, but until then he wants a truce. Kane, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins appear on the big screen. Kane books them in a tag team match against each other.

-Commercial Break-

Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow 

Sheamus and Miz start things off, Sheamus with a high knee in the corner and misses a clothesline. Miz with a back elbow, he tags in Sandow, who runs into a power slam by Sheamus. He then throws Sandow to the apron, but Miz runs in the ring and Sheamus  throws him over the top rope, Sheamus starts clubbing the chest of Sandow, but Miz pulls him down off the apron and Sheamus takes him out with a dive.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with The Miz hitting a neck breaker on Sheamus. Miz and Sandow control the action with quick in and out tags until Sheamus tags in Ziggler. Here comes Dolph and Sandow, Ziggler clears the ring with a series of clotheslines, a splash and a neck breaker. Ziggler misses a high knee, but hits a big time DDT for a near fall. Miz breaks it up, Sheamus drives Miz out of the ring to the floor and Ziggler nailed a drop kick on Sandow for a near fall. Sheamus sends Miz into the barricade, but Miz hit Sheamus in the gut with a chair. Ziggler super kicks Miz off the apron and Sandow rolls him up for 2. Ziggler hit the Zig Zag on Sandow for the win.

Winners: Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler
After the match, Sheamus tried to hit Miz with a steel chair, but Miz ran out of the ring. So, Sheamus hit his stunt double (Sandow) in the back with it instead.

A recap video of The Big Show, Mark Henry and Rusev feud aired

Paige vs. Naomi 

Paige with a kick to the gut of Naomi, she locks in a surfboard submission hold, but Naomi fights out. Naomi with back, elbows, she hit a drop kick and then another. Naomi with a head takeover, she nailed face buster and Alicia Fox tries to pull Paige out of the ring. Naomi hit an outside dive taking out Fox and when she got back in the ring she hit a side kick. Naomi goes for a springboard move, but Paige kicks in the head and locked in the PTO for the win.

Winner: Paige

After the match, Alicia Fox and Paige beat down Naomi until AJ Lee ran down and made the save.

-Commercial Break-

The Big Show comes out in a suit and makes his way out to the ring, he cuts a promo about yanking down the Russian flag on RAW. He said what he did on Raw was wrong and that he is sorry. However, he is interrupted by Rusev and Lana. This segment is to hype the match between the two for next Monday’s Raw. Rusev makes his way down to the ring and to attacks Show with the flag, but The Big Show eventually stops him and Lana as well as Rusev get out of the ring in shock.

-Commercial Break-

Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil vs. The Usos 

Jey and Slater lock up, Jey reverses an Irish whip and hit a clothesline. He misses a splash in the corner and Slater hit him with a heel kick. He knocked Jimmy off the apron, out comes The Bunny! The Gator tries to attack The Bunny, but runs face first into the ring post. This distracts both Slater and O’Neil, which, when they turn around they are hit with a double superkick. The Bunny rolls in the Gator and The Bunny as well as The Usos hit a splash off the top rope on all three men.

Winners: The Usos

The three men dance in the ring to celebrate.

Dean Ambrose cuts a backstage promo about how he will embarrass Seth Rollins once he gets his hands on him.

-Commercial Break-

Cesaro vs. R-Truth 

Cesaro connects with a knee to the gut and an uppercut to Truth to start this match off. Cesaro with lefts and rights in the corner. Cesaro hit a power slam for a near fall, then locks in a body lock, but Truth fights out. Truth fights back with right hands, Truth with a back body drop and then goes for the scissor kicks, but missed. Truth with a flying clothesline and right hands. Cesaro throws Truth nuts first on the top rope and nailed the Neutralizer for the win.

Winner: Cesaro

-Commercial Break-

The Raw rebound is shown.

John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and Randy Orton 

Ambrose and Orton start this one off, Ambrose with lefts and rights. Ambrose works the left shoulder of Orton then hit a clothesline followed by an elbow drop for 2. Ambrose tags in Cena, he throws strikes, then hit a bulldog for a near fall. Orton gets a tag to Kane and so does Cena to Ambrose. Kane nailed a clothesline on Ambrose and tagged in Orton, who picks apart Ambrose’s legs and arms. Ambrose reversed an Irish whip and hit a clothesline. He tags in Cena and they nailed a double team leg pull. Orton pushes off Cena and cuts him off with a devastating clothesline. Orton with more strikes to the limbs off Cena. Cena hit a belly to belly suplex for a near fall. Cena throws Orton to the floor, then Kane and Cena tags in Ambrose, who hits an outside dive through the ropes taking out the two men.
