WWE Smackdown (7/25) Results: Reigns Vs. Del Rio

Welcome to Friday night Smackdown, we are shown highlights of Brock Lesnar making his return on Monday night. We kick things off with the opening match…

The Usos vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

Jey and Ryback start things off. Ryback nails a shoulder block, followed by a hip toss. Ryback misses a splash and Jimmy is tagged in where they hit a double team move for 2. Jimmy with a big time chop, then a big right. Jimmy lands a series of rights in the corner. Ryback run out of the corner and hits a shoulder block. Axel tagged in, but runs into an arm drag by Jimmy. Axel hits a shoulder block, he tags in Ryback who is knocked off the apron. Axel clotheslines Jimmy to the floor and Ryback hits a big time shoulder tackle.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back and Ryback is in control. However, Jimmy tries to mount a comeback, but is cut off and Axel is tagged in. Ryback and Axel keep control of things until Jimmy lands a spinning back kick. Jey and Axel tagged in, Jey cleans out with a series of clotheslines, a back kick and an uppercut. Jey hits a running dropkick and a back splash in the corner. Jey connects with a Samoan drop, but Ryback makes the save. Jey sends Ryback to the floor and he hits an outside dive taking out the big guy! Back in the ring, Axel drop kicks Jey off the apron. Jimmy pretends to be his bro and Axel has no clue. Back in the ring, Jimmy rolls up Axel for the win.

Winner: The Usos

Roman Reigns Vs. Alberto Del Rio is our main event. The Miz is signing an autograph for a kid backstage.

-Commercial Break-

The Miz comes out for Miz TV, he brings up that five days ago he became the IC Champion. He did not give the fans an acceptance speech. He thanks the Authority, his parents, his social media team and then he points out his parents who are in attendance. He goes into the crowd and asks them questions. His mom is proud, and says that he is awesome. He asks who is her favorite Superstar and she says Roman Reigns. He goes back into the ring, while thanking Maryse and his dogs. Outcomes Bo Dallas, and he is in a cheerful mood. Bo knows that Miz won that Battle royal, because he BOlieved. All of a sudden, Dolph Ziggler comes out and does not look to happy. Dolph says that Miz winning the IC title is amazing. He points out that Miz was on the ground the whole time and he did all the work, then fine. Dolph says that they are both full of crap, Miz says that Ziggler is just another Superstar jealous of us. Bo tells Ziggler to Bolieve. A brawl breaks out and Bo get’s a cheap shot on Ziggler. We have a match!

Ambrose Vs. Cesaro in a NO DQ match is pegged for tonight.

-Commercial Break-

The Miz is on commentary for the following match.

Bo Dallas vs. Dolph Ziggler 

Bo attacks Ziggler right off the bat, he lands a series of knee drops. Ziggler fights back, but when he shoots off the ropes, Bo hits a back elbow. Bo locks in a headlock, but Ziggler fights out only to be pulled down by his hair. Bo connects with a series of elbows, and then a big time clothesline for 2. Ziggler reverses and throws Bo into the corner. Ziggler with a back elbow and then a big time DDT. Miz has taken over on commentary, mute the TV! Bo rolls to the floor, Ziggler follows and attempts to superkick Miz, but he faked him out. Back in the ring, Ziggler goes for the fameasser, but Bo rolls him up for 2. Ziggler hits the fameasser for 2. Miz goes in and distracts Ziggler which leads to Bo rolling up Ziggler for the win.

Winner: Bo Dallas

After the match, Miz lays out Bo and sends Ziggler face first into the ring post.

Roman Reigns does a backstage promo, he says he does not care about Triple H’s plan and when he can knock out anyone, he becomes a wanted man. One against all. He says that facing Del Rio tonight, he says that ADR can’t stop him tonight and he better have a plan, because he has a punch.

-Commercial Break-

No DQ Match: Cesaro vs. Dean Ambrose 

Cesaro misses a clothesline and Dean puts the boots to Cesaro. Dean hits a power slam followed by an elbow. Ambrose grabs a kendo stick, then a series of chairs which get’s a pop. He stands on the apron and Cesaro hits a big boot knocking him off. Cesaro misses a kendo stick shot and Dean clotheslines Cesaro over the barricade. Dean grabs the ring bell and hits Cesaro in the back of the head. Dean get’s on the announce table, but Cesaro hits Dean in the gut with a kendo stick.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back and Cesaro is in control. He power slams Dean on two set up chairs for a near fall. Cesaro locks in a camel clutch with a kendo stick. Cesaro continues to punish Dean in this NO DQ match. Dean fights back with a big time clothesline. Cesaro misses with a chair shot as Dean connects with a series of Kendo strikes. Dean slides to the floor and grabs a chair, sets up two chairs in the ring. Dean goes for a suplex, but Cesaro blocks and goes for one of his own. Dean fights out and hits Cesaro in the gut with a chair. Dean suplexes Cesaro on the chair for a near fall. Dean heads to the top rope, he connects with a chair shot of the top rope for 2. Dean misses a spear and goes head first into the chair leading to Cesaro rolling him up for 2. Cesaro sends Ambrose shoulder first into the ring post. Cesaro misses a chair shot and Dean connects with an outside dive. Dean gets five or more chairs into the ring. Ok, now we are up to about ten. Out of nowhere, Seth Rollins comes out and attacks Dean. However, Ambrose fights back and clotheslines Rollins over the barricade. Back is the ring, Dean climbs the top rope and Cesaro knocks him down. Cesaro hits the awesome superplex from the apron onto the chairs that are in the ring for a near fall. Good god that was awesome. Cesaro lifts Ambrose up, but Dean rolls him up for the win.
