WWE TLC 2017 PPV Results – Kurt Angle Main Events, Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles

Welcome to the WWE TLC pre-show, and we are live on the WWE Network. Renee Young, David Otunga, and Peter Rosenberg consist of the panel. The Miz cut a backstage promo about the main event. He said that he will demolish Kurt Angle tonight. Miz wants Angle to shake his hand tomorrow night on Raw. There was a backstage segment with Angle, Jason Jordan, and Elias Samson where it set up the announcement of Samson performing in the ring for a segment on the show. Mickie James did a Q&A session backstage to hype her Raw Women’s Title match against Alexa Bliss.

Singles Match: Asuka vs. Emma

Asuka went for an armbar right out of the gate, but Emma broke the submission by getting to the bottom rope. They lock up, and Emma worked over her left arm.

Asuka fired up and worked over Emma’s left shoulder. Asuka with a butt ram that popped the crowd. Asuka went for an ankle lock, but Emma got out of it and sent her to the floor. Emma with a drop kick then sent her into the barricade.

Back in the ring, Emma sent Asuka into the turnbuckle and set her upside in the corner and hit a splash for 2. Asuka rolled her up for 2 then caught her with a side kick. Asuka with a series of kicks and a missile drop kick off the middle rope.

Emma hit her in the back and landed a drop kick for 2. Asuka went for the ankle lock and then hit a german suplex. Emma slammed her off the apron and to the floor. Back in the ring, Asuka caught her with a spin kick then locked in the Asuka Lock for the win.

Winner: Asuka.

We see The Miz talking with Sheamus and Cesaro about their game plan for tonight’s match. They were upset that Angle stepped in and took their spotlight. Strowman walked up and told them to stay out of their way. Kane emerged and said that he does whatever he wants. He vowed to bring destruction to their opponents.

Elias was trying to sing us a song on the stage when Jason Jordan started throwing food at him.

Tag Team Match: Jack Gallagher & Brian Kendrick vs. Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann

Kendrick and Swann started things off. Kendrick knocked him down and tagged in Gallagher, who started working over the left leg of Swann. Alexander was tagged in and Swann hit a drop kick. Kendrick was tagged in and Alexander hit a hurricanrana then a drop kick. Alexander went for an outside dive but Gallagher tripped him. Swann took him out. Alexander sent Kendrick to the floor and took them both out with an outside dive. Back in the ring, Kendrick and Swann were legal.

Kendrick knocked Swann off the top rope and tagged in Gallagher, who put the boots to him. Kendrick back in and hit a suplex for 2. Swann sent Kendrick to the floor and went for a tag but Gallagher stopped him. Alexander got the hot tag and hit a series of strikes then a back elbow. Alexander with a roundhouse kick for 2.

Alexander with a spear then a head kick followed by a flying clothesline off the top rope for 2. Kendrick pulled Alexander to the floor then hit a suplex to Swann. Kendrick is now tagged in and Alexander rolled him up for 2.

Kendrick with two super kicks followed up by the captain’s hook but Swann broke it up with a phoenix splash. Swann kicked Gallagher then Gallagher head butted him. Alexander took out Kendrick with a back breaker for the win.

Winners: Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann

Raw Women’s Title Match: Alexa Bliss © vs. Mickie James

They lock up, and James shoved her down. James rolled her up for 2. James slapped Bliss’ but which ticked off Bliss, who landed a back elbow then worked over her right arm.

They pulled hair and James kicked her in the face for 2. Bliss fought back and targeted the left shoulder of James. Bliss with a shoulder submission and James attempted to fight out of it but couldn’t.

They exchange slaps with James getting the better of her. They both landed head kicks. James fired up and landed a series of strikes and clotheslines. James with a spinning kick then an up kick followed by a clothesline for 2. James went for a DDT but Bliss blocked, and James rolled her up for 2. Bliss with a sunset flip into a roll up for 2.

James went to the top rope, but Bliss knocked her down and went to the top rope where she missed the Twisted Bliss. James hit a drop kick off the top rope for 2. The fans started chanting for tables for some reason.

Bliss sent James into the turnbuckle and hit a DDT for the win.

Winner: Bliss – still Raw Women’s Champion.

Elias was back out on the stage singing. However, Jordan chased him off by throwing more feud at him.

Cruiserweight Title Match: Kalisto © vs. Enzo Amore

Amore with a back elbow then ducked out to the floor. Kalisto with a head scissors takedown then a head kick. Amore went to the floor and Kalisto took him out with a dive. Kalisto went to the middle rope but Amore knocked him down. Amore worked over the jaw of Kalisto with some hard strikes. Amore mocked Kalisto and went to the top rope and acted like he was going to dive but didn’t. Kalisto caught him with a kick. Amore drove him down with a big boots. Amore with a big right hand for two then locked in a headlock. Kalisto caught him with a kick then a spring board kick. Kalisto drove him head first into the mat for 2. Amore sent him head first into the bottom rope for 2. Kalisto went for his finisher but Amore blocked and tried to get out of the ring. Amore poked him in the eyes while the referee was messing with the ring apron and Amore rolled him up for the win.

Winner: Amore – still WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Post-match, Renee Young interviews Amore and he thanked himself and not the fans.
