WWE’s investigation into alleged misconduct by former CEO Vince McMahon is said to be almost at a close.
McMahon retired from WWE in late July during the investigation into alleged hush-money payments made related to alleged sexual relationships with female employees.
Pwinsider reports that the company said that the investigation is “substantially complete” during the recent quarterly report.
The former CEO has promised to respect the result of the investigation, which WWE’s Board of Directors is expected to make public.
McMahon is alleged to have paid over $12 million over 16 years to multiple women.
One allegation claims that McMahon forced a female Superstar into sex and when she later refused, the Superstar was depushed and quickly released.
