WWE Superstars Who Will Be Shafted At WrestleMania 32

Last year at this time, I wrote an article on the WWE Superstars and Divas who were expected to be lost in the shuffle heading into WrestleMania 31. In the end, Randy Orton faced Seth Rollins; guys like Daniel Bryan, Stardust, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose competed in the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship while the likes of Big Show and The Miz were relegated to competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal which ended up on the pre-show rather than the main card in order to make room for a segment involving Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Ronda Rousey and oh yeah, The Rock.

Speaking of The People’s Champion, he will be no doubt one of the biggest Superstars expected to compete at WrestleMania 32 which will emanate from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas alongside the likes of Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Sting, Undertaker and perhaps even “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. With the WWE relying on top-drawing part-timers in order to sell the PPV, the only full-time talent expected to be involved in storylines are John Cena and to a lesser extent, Roman Reigns. Guys like Seth Rollins and Randy Orton are not expected to be featured due to the fact that they are out with injuries.

While the focus will no doubt be on the guys that I had mentioned earlier, most of the other Superstars will no doubt be demoted storyline-wise as they are not expected to be featured on a regular basis in the weeks heading into WrestleMania 32. Whether it’s the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a possible ladder match for the United States Championship, or a Divas Lumberjill Match, expect these matches to take a backseat as a result.

And so without further delay, here are the Superstars who will likely be demoted come late February:

Alberto Del Rio

The Mexican Aristocrat made a shocking return to the WWE at the Hell In A Cell PPV when he defeated John Cena to win the United States Championship. Even though he will be featured on a regular basis, don’t expect him to feud with anyone for the title should he retain it. Instead, look for him to compete in the ladder match.

Big Show

The World’s Largest Athlete will also be featured pretty often, but he may very well be competing in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, a match he won at WrestleMania 31.

Bray Wyatt

The leader of The Wyatt Family could be demoted as well unless he gets involved in a feud, possibly against maybe a veteran like Chris Jericho or Kane.

Daniel Bryan

The Yes Man has been out of action for several months now with no return date set. Should he return, look for him to compete in the ladder match.

The WWE Divas

The Ladies of the WWE have made some improvements in recent months, still with the WWE expecting to focus on the guys, we could very well see a lumberjill match starring Charlotte & Maria Menounos taking on Brie & Nikki Bella.

The WWE Tag Teams

With the return of Jey & Jimmy Uso, look for perhaps a tag team turmoil match to determine the WWE Tag Team Champions that will likely take place on the pre-show. Along with the Usos, expect the teams to include New Day, the Dudley Boyz, the Lucha Dragons, the Prime Time Players and yes, the reunited team of Goldust and Stardust.

Dean Ambrose, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev, Kevin Owens, Ryback, Sheamus, King Barrett, the Miz, Neville and the other mid-carders

Look for these guys to compete in the ladder match or the battle royal, enough said.
