With this years PPV only a matter of days away i’m going down the list and reviewing the past PPV. Each articles will be a different year, also to see what was good and what was bad. Also This is the last of this installment.

Before we get into this, this piece was written at the time of the PPV last year:

#1 Contender Table Match for Tag Team Titles: Team Road Scholars Def. Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara

Good way to kick off the PPV with a high pace action packed match that a PPV needs to have in my opinion. Having the heels makes it okay since you have a babyface of champions in team hell no so i don’t have a problem with it. The Sin Cara bump was very well done. Good match 3-5

WWE United States Championship Match Antonio Cesaro (c) Def. R-Truth

A basic WWE match with too many long holds by AC aka Antonio Cesaro. If he would cut that out he wasn’t bad. He needs a long title reign but so far not a good job. I think WWE has no idea what they have with him. As far as R truth goes I like him in this mid card level & the nasty cut he got on his knee is very graphic. Basic but decent match 2-5

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match Kofi Kingston (c) Def. Wade Barrett

This match was good now they needed more time but this feud is good & hopefully it continues. They put on a great story in & out of the ring. I’m a mark for Mr. Barrett & there finally getting the ball rolling with him since he has been back. Slowly but surely he will win the IC title & is a future world Champion. Good match but needed more time 3-5

TLC Match: The Shield Def. Team Hell No & Ryback

After reading this article somehow some way go & check out this match. Wow what an awesome match if you’re an Indy or a major hardcore fan. These guys went out & done pretty much everything you can do within the PG or WWE style of a hardcore match. Seth Rollins took a nasty bump off the ladder through tables then give it up to Daniel Bryan for the finish. The shield did a good job at controlling the action & taking one guy at a time out. The guy who stood out to everyone including me was the Dean Ambrose who freaking shined. He is so intense on the microphone but was just that and more in the ring. He is a star just give it time. I like all three of the shield guys & give it up to WWE for giving them a storyline & letting them roll with it. What is next for them i think it will continue with Ryback somehow but a match of the year for sure, 5-5 Great match.

World Heavyweight Championship Chairs Match: The Big Show (c) Def. Sheamus

let’s just say the finish of the match was cheesy & who came up with the finish has had too many chair shots to the head. They brought out a giant chair to hit Sheamus with wow. This is the end of the feud pretty much & I’m glad. Let’s get some new blood for the big show to smash. An decent match with Sheamus working hard but come on how much can you do in a chair match? Decent 2.5-5.

Alberto Del Rio, the Miz & Brooklyn Brawler Def. 3MB

Not much to say here, ADR got his face turn, Miz got a win not needed & a one night from the Brooklyn brawler who no one knew was ok. Oh don’t let me forget the 3mb who Drew McIntyre & heath Slater has talent but Jinder Mahal is almost a big enough joke as the Gimmick of the 3mb is. Done? 1-5 watchable

MITB Ladder Match: Dolph Ziggler Def. John Cena

A good ladder match out of both guys but Ziggler shined as always. This match speaks for itself but the only thing that stood out was AJ Lee costing John Cena the match which will be dragged out on raw tonight. AS far as that goes it was a very good PPV for WWE. one of the best all year.

PPV grade I’d give it an 8.5-10.
