As noted, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will make his first championship defense at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event on July 9th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the only dates that are confirmed for Lesnar to work are the Great Balls of Fire event and SummerSlam.
Seth Rollins and Finn Balor made their case for a shot at the WWE Universal Championship on Monday’s RAW. Meltzer noted that while Lesnar will likely face both Superstars before WrestleMania 34 next year in New Orleans, there is currently nothing officially set regarding those matches or his opponents leading into WrestleMania.
