As previously reported, UFC President Dana White took part in fan Q&A session ahead of UFC 193, and he talked about CM Punk’s pending UFC/MMA debut. White stated that Punk will likely make his UFC debut before the summer of 2016.
White stated, “He’ll fight – I’m going to say before summer, probably before summer.” White added, “Listen, he doesn’t have any fights yet, man. Let him take his time and work his way in.”
Punk is currently rehabbing a shoulder injury he sustained last month, which has setback his debut. He has been training for MMA at the Roufusport gym with coach Duke Roufus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
