According to source, WWE will hold two NXT live events at the former ECW arena in Philadelphia, PA on Friday 5/15 and Saturday 5/16 of this year.
Triple H wants to make NXT a third brand.
Triple H mentioned that in the most recent NXT Takeover Rival Special conference call with the media. That plan started last week with those two live events in Ohio and now the company is moving forward with those plans.
The Ohio live event sold out almost immediately with no promotion beyond social media.
While WWE plans on running that venue for these two events, WWE has had previous discussions about purchasing the historic venue with the idea of converting it into a permanent training center and home for the new ECW, although that idea never got past the initial talking stages.
