The ratings for this week’s Lucha Underground broadcast are in and the show suffered a big drop in numbers this week. This could be due in part to the NXT Takeover: The End WWE Network event which went head-to-head with the show.
Wednesday night’s Lucha Underground broadcast drew just 85,000 viewers, with a 0.03 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 23% and 0.01 from the previous week’s 111,000 viewers and 0.04. The viewership was a new season low for the show.
In addition to the WWE NXT Takeover: The End special, Lucha Underground also faced the NBA Finals (Game 3) on ABC, which brought in a huge 16.465 million viewers, with a 6.1 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic.
Lucha Underground did not rank in the top 150 cable originals on Wednesday night.
