UPDATE x 2: According to a report from Politico, several sources within President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team are saying that Linda McMahon is one of the “top choices” to head Trump’s Small Business Administration.
Linda and Trump met in New York City yesterday (Wednesday) and Linda also reportedly met with several members of Donald’s transition team. She is looking “increasingly likely” to head up the SBA. One source told Politico the following, “It’s very, very real. For the last several days, it has been discussed seriously internally.”
UPDATED: Following her meeting with President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday, Linda McMahon spoke with reporters and said that the meeting “went great.” When she was asked whether she had been offered a job in the administration, she said, “Stay tuned. Anytime the president-elect of the United States asks you to come in for a conversation, you’re happy to do that. We talked about business and entrepreneurs and creating jobs, we had a really good conversation.”

ORIGINAL: As many of you know by now, there have been some rumors on several mainstream media outlets claiming that Linda McMahon was being considered for a position in President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet. According to the reports, Linda was said to be in consideration for the Secretary of Commerce position. In an update on those rumors and reports, there is now word that Trump is going to announce investor Wilbur Ross for the job.
For what it’s worth, Linda McMahon donated $6 million in August and September to the Rebuilding America Now Super PAC, a charity which supports Trump. Her money made up about 1/3 of the $18 million in donations it received last quarter.
