Welcome to WWE NXT, we are shown highlights of Sami Zayn’s match with John Cena from two weeks ago on RAW. Later in the show, both Zayn and Kevin Owens will have a face-to-face in the ring.
Singles Match: Baron Corbin vs. Solomon Crowe.
Corbin with a few knockdowns and a powerslam. He threw Crowe back first into the mat, but he popped right back up with a right hand. Crowe with a drop kick in the corner a dn a running knee to the face of Corbin. Crowe with a kick to the face of Corbin, he hit a springboard move, but caught and Corbin hit the End of Days for the win.
Winner: Corbin
After the match, Rhyno ran down and attacked Corbin. The two started brawling until they were separated by security.
Finn Balor cut a backstage promo about how he doesn’t matter who wins between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at NXT Takeover because whoever is a champion, Balor will be closely behind them.
-Commercial Break-
Tyler Breeze cut a backstage promo how he will be Finn Balor and Hideo Itami next week at NXT Takeover. Then, he will move on to become the NXT Champion.
Sasha Banks cut a promo prior to her match about how she made Becky Lynch who she is today and at NXT Takeover, she will show everyone why she is the boss of NXT.
Singles Match: Sasha Banks vs. an enhancement talent.
Complete squash match, Banks won with the Bank Statement.
Winner: Sasha Banks
-Commercial Break-
Singles Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella.
Carmella with a knee to the gut of Bliss and then rolled her up for 2. Bliss went for a suplex, but blocked. Carmella fought back with right hands then hit her own suplex followed by a series of grounded knees to the face of Bliss. Carmella with a body lock, the fans begin to boo as Blake and Murphy walk down to the ring. Bliss fought back, but was cut off by Carmella. Blake distracted Carmella, which led to Bliss rolling up Carmella for the win.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
Post-match, Blake and Murphy try to apologize to Carmella, but she doesn’t want to hear it. They said that she smelled like garbage. She told them that Cass and Enzo would be the next NXT Tag Team Champions.
-Commercial Break-
Tag Team Match: Adam Rose and Tyler Breeze vs. Finn Balor and Hideo Itami.
Rose and Itami started things off by locking up. Itami with a series of chops, he tagged in Balor, who hit a slingshot dropkick. Balor worked over the arm of Rose, but Rose fought back with an elbow. Rose off the ropes, but Balor drop kicked him then clotheslines to him to the floor.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Rose and Breeze in control of Balor. They double team him for a few moments until Balor managed to get the hot tag to Itami. He and Breeze are the legal men, he landed a dropkick to Breeze in the corner. Balor tagged himself in, he hit a drop kick to Breeze. Balor went to the top rope, but Itami tagged himself in and Breeze rolled up Itami for the win.
Winners: Adam Rose and Tyler Breeze
After the match, Breeze nailed a superkick to Finn Balor, Hideo Itami and Adam Rose. Breeze stood tall over him to close the segment.

A pre-taped video is shown of Sami Zayn backstage at RAW in Montreal. He said that his match with Cena was surreal but concerned about his shoulder that he injured.

WWE announced that Charlotte and Bayley would face Dana Brooke and Emma in a tag team match at NXT Takeover: Untoppable.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens walk down to the ring. Zayn demands to know why he did what he did. It’s not because of his family, so why did Owens attack him? Zayn thinks that he is jealous of him. Zayn brought up that Owens son wears his shirt and his dad’s shirt to schools. Owens just left the ring and walked up to the stage. Owens said that everything Zayn believes doesn’t matter. He knows that he hurt Zayn during that attack and is still hurt. He knows what the injury is and how to hurt him again, but this time Zayn won’t be coming back. Owens walked to the back with a stunned Sami Zayn in the ring to go off the air.
