2. Rob Van Dam

“Mr. Monday/Friday night”, “The Hole F’ing Show” “RVD” but better known as Rob Van Dam. The very popular superstar who has held every major title in the company has been absent from WWE television since October 6th at the “Battleground” pay-per-view where he was taken out by Alberto Del Rio.

Since making his return at the “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view, Rob Van Dam has been having good matches with anyone he gets into the ring with. Now as RVD might not be on TV right now, his potential return can happen any week of WWE programming. It’s not if he will return, it’s when will “Mr. Pay-Per-View” make his return to pay-per-view.

Van Damn has made a surprise return in the past and at the Royal Rumble in 2009, he made a one off appearance. Now obviously this time it will be for more than one appearance but why can’t he make his return at the PPV.

RVD always gets a good pop so why not, he has already been put in the main event picture with his latest return. It would be a nice return but also bringing in a bit of a star power to the show and down the road for future matches.

Some will question this number two pick, but think about it. It does make since for RVD to come back when he does. It is WrestleMania season and we all know what that means, a big check.

With one more to go, at the number two spot Rob Van Damn is your number to runner.

Find out tomorrow who will be the number one contender to win the Royal Rumble.
