Here at EwrestlingNews.com we want to bring you the latest news in pro wrestling, but also the best variety of content on the internet. I wanted to give my take on some of the top news stories of the week. Check it out below:

Kane Vs. Daniel Bryan

Well folks, that is our main event for Extreme Rules one week from today. Kane will try to get the gold from Bryan who has had a hell of a week. Bryan was destroyed on Raw and looks for revenge at Extreme Rules. Not the best main event in the world and yes, we have seen it before, however, I think they can pull out a good match that is really a filler for Bryan’s first title defense which is a shame.

TNA Impact’s Rating

The go home show for tonight’s TNA Sacrifice was not good. In fact, it was horrible. The show did a 0.85 (0.9) which is a 2% increase from last week and that is pretty good. The bad part was that from the time the show started with 1.02 rating until it ended, TNA lost a ton of viewers and ended the night with a 0.69 in the final quarter hour. The main event was Magnus Vs. Abyss. Obviously TNA can’t be happy with that rating when it’s their home-go show. Ouch.

Sting Has Basically Signed With WWE

It was reported on the site earlier this week that with all the rumors of Sting signing with WWE, it now, maybe confirmed due to a new Sting DVD produced by WWE is set to be released later this year. Also Sting appearing on the WWE Network, it’s basically a done deal. Sting will make his debut on WWE TV soon, when he will be appearing on TV is a different story.

Nancy Grace cancels Wrestling Themed Special

After taking shots at pro wrestling, after saying Owen Hart died of steroids, Nancy Grace added a show that was supposed to air last Thursday. However, she cancelled it and there is not a known date for the program to air. This just shows that she did not want to get embarrassed herself on her own pathetic TV show about a topic she has no clue what she is talking about.

Daniel Bryan’s Father Passes Away

Sadly, we had to report some sad news on the site Monday. Daniel Bryan’s dad passed. He comes off such a high by winning the WWE title and then gets married to Brie Bella. Of course with all the good, there has to be some bad. Bryan will regroup and come back better than ever. RIP, thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family.
