Wrestlemania 32 predictions

Okay so Wrestlemania is right around the corner and I thought it was just early enough to give some decent predictions. Storylines at this point are really up in the air and things can go many different ways.

Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns’ whole storyline was of late was him trying to become WWE Champ. Dean’s storyline was being Roman Reigns best friend. They remind me a lot of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, where Nash was pushed as the star, always given title shots, while Dean is this cool chill dude in the background, helping his buddy, but still kind of doing his own thing. However, i dont see WWE keeping them together forever, and a breakup storyline is inevitable with every best friend/tag team partner storyline. Any one of these guys can be the heel. I imagine Dean playing the jealous heel. However it wont matter much as Dean will get cheered and Roman will be booed out of the building. Expect this to be a pretty good match.

Triple H vs Dolph Ziggler
Dolph has had his run-ins with the authority dating back to last years Survivor Series that featured the WWE debut of Sting. As of late, he hasn’t been to involved with Triple H storyline wise, but that can always change. Seth Rollins is out with a knee injury and with The Rock most likely not being able to compete this wrestlemania, I think this could be Dolph’s chance for the push that he really needs.

Intercontinental Championship
Kevin Owens (c) vs Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe is one of the best wrestlers to have yet wrestle in a WWE ring. While he is still in NXT, i believe he should be called up soon due to the current lack of roster depth that the WWE is currently facing. He has the physical prowess, ring presence and technical abilty to easily become a top star in WWE, so long as politics and creative dont play a negative role in Joe’s push. Joe vs Owens in any type of match would be a brawl to remember. Let’s hope WWE sets this up.

United States (Mexamerican) Championship
Alberto Del Rio (c) vs Rey Mysterio
This whole Mexamerica thing is quite interesting. On one hand, you have the idea of uniting 2 nations, 2 cultures as one. And at the same time, Del Rio and Coulter go around insulting people doing things in not so noble of a way. Uniting people is great and all, so long as you arent being a douche about it. But its all storyline and the best person for Del Rio to defend against would be someone who’s nationality can play up to all this. Rey could call out Zeb and Del Rio on their hypocrisy and they can go back and forth. It would make for an interesting match as this wrestlemania does take place in Dallas, which is very close to mexico with a big mexican population. If rumors are true of Rey Mysterio returning to WWE, expect them to cash in on his return with a big match at Wrestlemania vs their other biggest Mexican star, Del Rdddiiooo.

WWE Tag Team Championship
Fatal 4-way TLC match
The Dudley Boyz (c) vs New Day vs The Usos vs The
Lucha Dragons.
I was very tempeted to put in the Hardy Boys instead of the Lucha Dragons. As much as everyone would like to see the Hardy Boyz again, i dont see it as a possibility at this point in time. But still, this ladder match could very well steal the show. With all the high flying capabilities of Lucha Dragons and the Usos, as well as New Days Kofi Kingston who always shines in these ladder matches, it could create for some spectacular moments.

Sting vs Bray Wyatt
WWE has no idea how to book Sting. So they will likely throw him into this oh so spooky storyline. Bray Wyatt will talk a lot without actually saying anything, while Sting, when he shows will fight some Wyatts with his trusty baseball bat. Hopefully WWE doesnt have the Stinger job yet again. But i dont wanna see Bray Wyatt job either for the thousandth time. Tricky situation here, but previous bad booking is at fault here.

WWE Divas Championship
Charlotte (c) vs Ronda Rousey
Okay wouldn’t it be funny if Ronda, salty from her recent 1st loss in UFC decides to take up Charlotte on her challenge, and Dana White, actually lets her go to WWE to beat up Charlotte? Very unlikely, but who knows. The ideal Divas match would be something like Paige vs Sasha Banks vs Charlotte, but i dont see WWE pushing Sasha banks properly and we get stuck with a lackluster all Divas battle royal match at wrestlemania.

Andre the Giant memorial battle royal
All the mid and low carders without matches all thrown together.
This should be a quickie, maybe even a pre-show match. I’d say at the end, it should come down to Sheamus, Rusev, Barrett and Cesaro, with Cesaro defying the odds with first eliminating Barrett, followed by Rusev, and then finally Sheamus. Cesaro winning this match for a 2nd Wrestlemania can solidify him as a mid to upper carder and give him the push he deserves.

Undertaker vs John Cena
I don’t want this match really, but we dont have many other choices. The last time Cena faced Taker was over a decade ago before Cena was ever a world champion, back when Cena was on Smackdown. Taker won, and Cena may want revenge. Cena always gets his revenge. I cant think of a single person who beat Cena, and Cena didnt come back to beat at one point. Rock, Brock, Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, Punk, Edge, Tensai (lol). It seems like Taker is last on his long list and this may be his last chance to get it. Undertaker has just about ran out of opponents. Sting would have been a good fight, 10 or 15 years ago, but i just dont see the point in it anymore, especially with Takers streak no longer being alive.

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar (c) vs Daniel Bryan
I know i know. Everyone in the IWC doesnt think Daniel Bryan can wrestle. They dont think he will be cleared or ever be able to wrestle, at least in a WWE ring. But there is a chance, and it could make for one of the biggest return storylines. The WWE universe believes in Daniel Bryan. Do you remember how upset they were when he came into the last Royal Rumble at number 13 or 15 and was eliminated early? They dam near sabatoged the whole match. They sabatoged the last 2 Royal Rumbles just because DB wasnt winning it. The WWE universe wants nothing more than for one more Daniel Bryan return and main event push, against none other than the biggest heel in the business, the man behind the 1 in 22 and 1. You know who I am talking about. What better than the man who defied all odds at wrestlemania 30, defeating Triple H and then Randy Orton and Batista to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Vs The biggest monster heel, the man who ended the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at wrestlemania, the man who takes everyone to suplex city. I dont think there is much better of a main event.

Well what do you guys think? I am open to criticism and dont necessarily think my card is the best. Some matches can be changed around. Its somewhat realistic with some fantasy parts to it.
