Notable Superstars Missing from the Card

Note: This is not a full list of everyone on the roster who is not scheduled for the show. It excludes some people who wouldn’t have normally been expected to appear on the show for some fashion, such as some jobbers, injured talent, etc.

Andre Chase = Chase has been bouncing around between different feuds. It seems WWE likes to use him as a filler guy, rather than to give him a strong enough storyline to get on the pay-per-view.

Diamond Mine’s Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile = These three (as well as Hachiman and Malcolm Bivens) could accompany Roderick Strong to the ring, but they aren’t involved in any feuds right now to be active competitors on this card.

Timothy Thatcher = Thatcher has been out of action since August. As far as I’m aware, no official reasoning has been stated. I’m assuming it’s an injury, but we haven’t been privy to that information. It’s a shame, as I think he would have made much more sense to be on Ciampa’s team than LA Knight.

Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs / Grizzled Young Veterans / Jacket Time (Kushida and Ikemen Jiro) / MSK = These teams simply didn’t work their way into the title hunt. That’s okay. Not everyone can fight for every title on every card.

Legado del Fantasma / Xyon Quinn = Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde lost the opportunity to fight for the tag titles. Elektra Lopez and Santos Escobar still have issues with Xyon Quinn, but that isn’t a big enough deal to justify booting one of the other matches off the card. For all we know, it could be a pre-show match, though, but it most likely will just play out on television.

Odyssey Jones = After getting some serious attention the past two months or so, Jones is surprisingly out of a feud. With so much chaos going on, I’m not surprised some people are lost in the shuffle, but there’s also some rumors he may just be going up to the main roster, so WWE might just have him on the back burner for now until that happens.

Solo Sikoa = Is he not playing well with a WarGames team because he’s more of a solo act? Eh? Yeah, I hate me, too. As far as I see it, if he had been on the new breed team, that would have been a big bonus for him and a sign of a solid push. Maybe this is something that will be a regret down the line.

Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta / Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter = Not everyone could make the WarGames team. Kacy and Kayden have one up on Indi and Persia for a tag title shot, but the champions are involved in the WarGames match. Since they’re busy, it makes sense the rightful challengers and the runner-up contenders wouldn’t be on this card.

Sarray = Amari Miller, Erica Yan, Valentina Feroz and so on not making the card doesn’t stand out to me as much of an omission. However, Sarray was treated like a rather big signing. Over the past few months, she hasn’t exactly been a prime focal point. Has WWE lost faith in her?
