During a backstage segment involving Seth Rollins and Kane that will air on this Thursday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Kane announced that Rollins will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
WWE Extreme Rules takes place on April 26, 2015 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The event will air on the WWE Network and some pay-per-view providers.
It will be the seventh event under the Extreme Rules chronology. This is the fourth of twelve WWE pay-per-views in 2015.
