WWE WrestleMania 37 Preview: Full Card, Match Predictions & More

Notable Superstars Missing from the Card

Note: This is not a full list of everyone on the roster who is not scheduled for the show. It excludes jobbers, injured talent, people who wouldn’t have normally been expected to appear on the show for some fashion, those who are unable to perform due to travel restrictions and so on. It also should be noted that much of the information regarding COVID-19 pandemic regulations and precautions is not public knowledge, so there’s no telling if anyone on this list or elsewhere is not going to be on the card due to those factors.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Competitors = I maintain that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal should have returned here, rather than on SmackDown. That’s a slap in the face. The people who have been announced to compete in this match, though, who are going to be ignored from the WrestleMania card, are as follows: Akira Tozawa, Angel Garza, Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak, Elias and Jaxson Ryker, Erik, Humberto Carrillo, Jey Uso, Kalisto, King Corbin, Lucha House Party, Mace, Murphy, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, Shelton Benjamin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Slapjack, T-Bar, Tucker. No mention of Riddick Moss or Wesley Blake.

Aleister Black = Considering we haven’t seen him in months, even after he was drafted, I’m not at all surprised to see him off the card.

Alpha Academy / Dirty Dawgs / Dominik & Rey Mysterio / The Street Profits = These guys are all going to be left off the card in favor of putting them on Friday Night SmackDown. I’d love to hear how WWE tries to pitch this to them as being “just as good” despite it being recorded in advance, in front of no one, in the ThunderDome. Terrible. Absolutely terrible that this isn’t on the card itself. I feel really bad for Dominik in particular.

Missing Members of the Women’s Division = WWE could have easily had a battle royal instead of the tag team turmoil match. Since they decided not to, that means the following women have no spot on the card at all, for pretty much no reason other than “because.” This includes Bayley, Chelsea Green (yet to return from her injury), Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce, Reckoning, and Sonya Deville.

Charlotte Flair = I’m very surprised WWE didn’t insert her into the Raw Women’s Championship match during the contract signing. Very, very surprised.

Jeff Hardy = When Hardy goes to AEW, eventually, you’ll know exactly why. He’s not even in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Wow.

Keith Lee = Unfortunately, it seems WWE still hasn’t cleared him to return to action. It’s weird we don’t know what is keeping him away. With everyone being hush about it, it’s likely a concussion or something related to COVID.

R-Truth = I’m fully expecting the 24/7 Championship to factor into some skit at WrestleMania and nothing more. In fact, I’d bet that Logan Paul wins the title.
