Highlights:
- After the main event, Adam Cole was revealed as The Devil, while his masked men were revealed to be Roderick Strong, The Kingdom, and Wardlow.
- Eddie Kingston became the first American Triple Crown Champion by winning the Continental Classic.
- Killswitch won an opportunity to wrestle for the TNT Championship earlier in the night. After Christian Cage lost the title to Adam Copeland, Killswitch showed up to savagely assault the new champion. Cage whispered something in Killswitch’s ear, and this made him hand over his TNT Championship title shot. Christian took advantage and got his title back.
- Swerve Strickland was originally scheduled to wrestle Keith Lee, but an injury sidelined him, so Dustin Rhodes served as Lee’s replacement.
- CJ Perry returned to AEW after getting surgery for a severe infection in her finger, accompanying Andrade El Idolo. During the match, she turned on him and helped Miro to win.
