NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver 2021
Highlights:
- Four new champions were crowned and three titles changed hands, including: Karrion Kross (NXT), Raquel Gonzalez (Women’s) and MSK (Tag Team).
- Santos Escobar unified the Cruiserweight titles in the ladder match to settle the dispute over who was the real champion between him and Jordan Devlin.
- Karrion Kross remains undefeated in his WWE career with his win over Finn Balor.
- After the main event of Night 2, because of Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole had to be stretchered out of the ring.
- Walter smashed his hand when he chopped through the wood of the announce table during his NXT UK title match, but still found a way to beat Tommaso Ciampa clean.
- Bronson Reed won the gauntlet match on Night 1, but interference from Austin Theory helped Johnny Gargano to retain on Night 2.
- Night 1 opened with Alice Cooper’s guitarist Nita Strauss playing the USA national anthem. Singer Poppy opened Night 2 with a rendition of the song “Stand & Deliver”.
