Highlights:
- To date, Money In The Bank 2023 was the highest grossing arena event in WWE history.
- In the main event, Jey Uso pinned Roman Reigns to claim victory for The Usos. This marked the first time in 3 1/2 years that Roman Reigns had been pinned in a match.
- The show saw surprise returns of John Cena and Drew McIntyre. Cena had an encounter with Grayson Waller, while McIntyre squared up to Gunther and Imperium.
- After winning Money In The Bank, Damian Priest seemingly distracted Finn Balor in his World Heavyweight title match with Seth Rollins, possibly costing him the victory.
- During Women’s Money In The Bank, Zoey Stark introduced handcuffs to the match. Later, Iyo Sky used them to cuff Bayley and Becky Lynch to a ladder, before climbing over her stablemate to victory.
- In the women’s tag team title match, Shayna Baszler surprised everyone by turning on Ronda Rousey. The attack cost both of them the titles to Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez.
