New Japan Pro Wrestling took to Twitter on Saturday, announcing that the 2022 New Japan Cup will feature 48 competitors. Additionally, the full lineup for the March 1st Anniversary event will be revealed during a press conference that will be held on Monday.
The 2019 and 2020 New Japan Cup featured 32 competitors, while the 2021 New Japan Cup featured 30 wrestlers.
