As noted last week, when a fan asked Rob Van Dam if he was done with WWE for
good after wrapping up his current run with the company at the August 26th WWE
television taping, he simply responded, “for better or for worse.”
Van Dam’s understanding with the company is that he would work full-time for
short, agreed upon periods of time, similar to Chris Jericho’s deal.
The first time RVD came back into the company, they reportedly asked him to
stay longer than he agreed, but he didn’t do it. The run that he just finished
last week ended his second cycle in.
