CM Punk will battle Jon Moxley in a unification match for the AEW World Championship tonight on Dynamite. The match originally was going to take place at AEW All Out before it was announced for television. According to Fightful, the idea to move the matchup came from Moxley.
According to sources, Moxley was in favor of moving the match off the pay-per-view to Dynamite. AEW officials were said to have gone along with the idea.
