AEW wrestler Andrade El Idolo dropped a cryptic tweet on Monday after WWE reportedly reached out to certain AEW stars about returning now that Triple H is in charge of creative.
Malakai Black got his conditional release from AEW and is taking time off from wrestling while dealing with personal issues. Buddy Matthews stated that he will also be taking time away from pro wrestling so he can recharge. It’s been reported that he may be done with AEW, but hasn’t received his release.
F4Wonline’s Ryan Frederick reported that Andrade “very possibly” was sent feelers by WWE.
Andrade sent out a tweet today with an hourglass, which many fans have taken as him saying that it’s only a matter of time before he’s also gone. However, he could also be referencing his AEW TV return as he hasn’t been seen on AEW programming since the Casino Ladder Match at All Out.
