MJF was last seen at December’s AEW Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event where he lost the AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe.
Pwinsider is reporting that MJF is still under contract with AEW despite his removal from the website’s roster page.
MJF has been working to recover from multiple injuries but is reportedly “locked” into a deal with AEW.
While MJF did not attend the ‘Big Business’ themed episode of AEW Dynamite in Boston, he did meet with AEW officials the following day.
MJF hasn’t been backstage since he was written out and it’s unknown when he’ll return.
